Pro-Line Racing Badlands 3.8 MTD Raid 8x32 Wheels
These tires made a noticeable improvement over the stock Sledgehammer tires on My Maxx V2. I dropped a single tooth on the spur gear to compensate for their slightly larger size. The tires balloon a little less than the stock Traxxas tires which can have some impact on rotation control mid-flight. However, the handling in general is much improved. A lot less rolling over during sharp maneuvers thanks to their somewhat stiffer sidewalls. Overall, the Badlands have lived up to their reputation as some of the best bashing tires you can buy. 10/10 would recommend!

Great tires.
These work great for my Redcat valkeryie. No rub and traction is much improved.

Best tire for your maxx!
Great tire for a 4s truck. 6s would probably require belted tires. But these are about as good as they get for being non belted tires.

Hard Pass.
Trash. Lasted about 5 minutes before 2 out of the 4 wheels separated from the rim on my stock Maxx RC truck. Look elsewhere for a higher quality brand.

Good quality!
I've used these a couple times, and it seems like Proline changed the rubber they used. This newer rubber doesn't balloon as much. The glue beads seem hold to large amounts of power. They give tons of grip on and off-road. They are very light-weight which is good for the electronics, but not so good for air-control. I would recommend these tires for smaller 1/8th trucks such as the Traxxas Maxx, but not for cars such as the Arrma 6s lineup, which need more air-control.

Great but......
They’re good tires for the types of terrain they were made for but I wouldn’t run them a whole lot on asphalt or concrete because it’ll probably eat them up quick. They only negative thing I have to say about them is that because of the fact that there is no bead protection at all, just after the several times of running my Traxxas max with them on there, the edges of the wheels have gotten pretty scratched and chewed up and I even noticed a few tears right there on the bead of the tires where they are glued to the wheels. Who knows, maybe these tires were made more for track running where there is no asphalt or rocks or anything which is why I’ll say if you’re just looking for a tire to run on any surface, I wouldn’t buy these unless you’re just a much better driver than I am that can always keep the rubber side down and not rolling over and tumbling the truck as much as I do… LOL.

Tires came Unglued
The tires came un glued within the first 5min or so of run time, so I returned those figuring that they were just a bad set and got another set, those had the same issues… while they were still glued they were fantastic, griped well and did not ballon much. Most likely they were just a bad bunch, I’ve had good luck with Pro-Line in the past…
