There are many tales of the beloved Hanuman, and this title summarizes the best known of them all, his service to Rama in the Ramayana. Clearly illustrated and simple but dramatic narration. I have loved ACK for nearly 50 years and here's another book reminding me why.

A very informative book on the live of Shrimp Hanuman. It was put forth in a manner which allows children to easily understand.

Because hanuman saved the country.Because hanuman lifted the mountain.Because kumbhakarana could sleep for 6 months at a time.

So, I was looking for a complete story on Hanuman starting from his childhood days. But, this story focused solely on the portion with Ram and getting back Sita from Lanka. I wanted the kids to know his whole story, not just one portion. I felt the title was misleading and was a waste of my money.

Easily worded story of killing of Ravana for his immoral act of taking away forcibly queen Sita the wife of lord Rama with an intent to marry her to make his Queen. Rama attacked Ravana's Lanka with the help of Sugreev, his forces..the strong group of monkeys along with the mighty Hanuman. Finally the demon king Ravana was killed and all his strong demons and Queen Sita freed and Rama returned Ayodhya along with Sita and Laxman on their completing fourteen years of exile.

Amar Chitra katha should be made a part of school curriculum……that will make students understand mythology in a pictorial way

Hanuman's legend is best remembered for his unshakeable loyalty and dedication towards Lord Ram.This issue of Amar Chitra Katha deals with the main episode of Sita's capture by Ravana and her daring rescue by Hanuman. Caricatures are okay and flow could have been better, but it narrates the story well enough.

I am jolly glad I bought this one for my granddaughter. She’s curious about our Indian Gods & even more curious about flying objects. The pictorial format - as is the best way to teach children & impart morals & values from a young age - keeps the interest going for her.
