I didn't realize the jacks on the headphones were 2.5mm. I was going to just fix it myself but then discovered these and read the add. They have worked flawlessly so far and I pulled the jack out of the headphones (2.5mm) about 20 times or so with the force of a grown mans's stomp. I use them while recording music at home. Great sounding headphones that now have new life.I would and did buy again as my girlfriend acquired a pair that was missing this precious 2.5mmX2 to 3.5mm cable.

Simple, straightforward design, no frills, and they do exactly what they're supposed to do. I had low expectations of buying such a low priced set of cables for some high priced headphones, but I am pleasantly surprised! They are extremely similar to the OEM cable that comes with the SOL headphones and function just the same without any sound degradation or quality issues. My cats seem to like my son's SOL headphone cables to use as chew toys, so this replacement is a life saver for when the cats decide its play time! These are NOT the wires that include the microphone or inline controls so please be sure you are buying the correct ones with the correct expectations. The media could not be loaded. It works as advertised , it is less expensive than other brands. little details like the absence of labeling of the left and right plug to headphones. molded rubber, not machined metal connectors, available with our without microphone and phone controls. It works well, and will hopefully hold up to wear and tear of use and travel.Make sure to choose the one best for your needs ( mic and phone control with TRRS as opposed to TRS 35mm jack and no mic)

I bought these when they had a 1 star rating because that review was completely irrelevant to the product. I received this cord today and was very happy that it worked with my SOL Republic V8(?)s.I've gone through 2 of the official SOL cables so far and they both broke where the small cord goes into the plug that plugs into the headphone. If you look at the stock cord, there are no strain reliefs at the headphone ends. This cord has strain reliefs at the "phone" end and at the headphone ends!This cable does not include any buttons or the mic. The end that plugs into the "phone" has 3 bands of copper instead of the stock cord's 4 bands. The missing band is the one that transmits the mic and buttons. The type of end with 3 bands can be plugged into any audio device regardless of if it's an iphone, android, or whatever else (I don't know if this is still relevant; three years ago it was.

These work with the Symphonized Wraith 2.0 Premium Genuine Wood Headphones. Well made and sound quality is good. I prefer the straight line-in connection to the wider than 90 degrees that the factory cable had. Partially I think that design is why they broke. Hated that I had to dig around to find a cable that would work for the Wraith, but that's on them too.Great deal on these. I like the Wraith headphones, but if you are getting those, you should get this cable.

The wires fill a little flimsy to be honest. I mean it works I just don't know for how long. So I ordered a much better version but hey it might work for you.

Like many other Sol Republic users, I learned very quickly that they make great headphones, but their cables are complete garbage and obscenely overpriced (look up Sol Republic cables and you'll find plenty of pages of people who are unhappy about their cables dying after only a few weeks or months). These are much, much more reliable. I bought a second pair only because I accidentally broke my first out of clumsiness.

Got the wire for my older he4xx (the ones with the 2.5mm connectors), either I was under the wrong impression and they NEED a 2 pole 2.5mm or I got the wire and it was DOA. Kind of upsetting. The cord is decent and what I would ecpt for the price, though I can't listen to anything that comes through them so... What do I know?Edit: nope didn't need a two pole, so this either came DOA or wired funky.
