Daughters favorite
My daughter loves to use this when my wife uses her kitchen aid and she feels like she’s helping out

Excellent toy for toddler and EXCELLENT customer service!
My 2 1/2 year old son is obsessed with helping me bake, and always requests that i take out the "red mixer" (my kitchen aid mixer). For Christmas, I knew I wanted to get him his own play mixer. Christmas morning, he was SO excited about his mixer rand literally spent the entire day carrying it around and turning it on and off and lifting it up, taking the attachments out, and pretending to turn it on "too high" so the flour flew out of the top (this happened recently when we made something together). Unfortunately his cousin stepped on one of the whisks on the first day we had it and broke a piece of it off. I contacted the company Casdon, and they were SO KIND and sent us 2 replacement whisks free of charge, and did not even charge us shipping when it came all the way from England. We are so grateful, and my little one still uses his mixer every single day.

Good for play
It did good for easy/liquidy things. But when she tried to mix some cake batter in it using the batteries, it just clicked. But the hand crank worked well.

Cute gift, but doesn’t mix very well.
It’s a very cute gift, but it’s not very durable as far as mixing goes. The hand mixing is fine, but the automated mixer doesn’t mix most batters. My three year old loves the idea of having his own kitchen aid to help me bake in the kitchen. I just wish it packed a little more power and was a little more durable. Still a decent gift though!

Great toy mixer that looks like the real thing and actually works too!
My 3 year old loves to cook and pretend cook. I got this for him for his b-day and he is crazy about it. He plays with it for hours. It actually works like a real mixer and comes with some simple recipes. But it s safe because the paddle and whisk will stop if touched. It has a manual crank and spices by battery operation. It is a smaller version of a real mixer - with same metal color and functions. This is a great kitchen mixer for kids that looks like the adult/"real" version.

Excellent
Not sure why everybody said you could not use this with real food. My son and I made banana bread with it today. Obviously we made a small batch but it still worked out this item works great with AA batteries. Absolutely love this gift and will continue to gift it to my friends kids as well

Does not mix batter at all.
The media could not be loaded. After going through the reviews, I debated this purchase for about two weeks. I decided to purchase it well before Christmas so I could test it before giving it as a gift. I really didn’t want to deal with a heartbroken child if this wasn’t any good.I understand this is a product for children. I bought this so my child could mix her own little batters for her easy bake oven. This does not do that. Not even the tiniest of batters can be mixed in this. I used a 4 TEASPOON batter and it barely moved. Even manually turning the handle was difficult and resulted in the mixer sliding around. I can’t imagine my child doing this with any success. The whisks don’t reach the bottom so even when it barely mixed the top layer, the bottom was still dry and unmixed. The recipe book that comes with it even states that it has to be turned manually. So, that defeats the whole purpose, if you ask me.Anyway, I’m sending this back immediately. It does not work as it should.
