Efficient and quiet!
This pump is quiet and extremely efficient. I went from a noisy single speed pump using 2.3-3.0 KW to this quiet and extremely efficient pump using .2-.3 kw or 200-300 watts a 90% reduction in power usage

Great pump and easy to install
Lost my 4-year-old pump to Hurricane Milton. This the exact same model which I have been very happy with. Not sure any pump would have held up during Milton. Changed it out in 20 minutes and didn't have to hire a pool company.

Easy to install and reliable
Had this guy for over 4 years now, and have not had a single issue. Maintenance-free and runs like a champ. Best part about it was a noticeable immediate savings on electricity and it is extremely quiet. Love the freeze protection mode and the ease of which to set the timers, put the built-in controls.

Wow! This pump is amazing.
Installation was as straightforward as it could get. Took about an hour to do plumbing and electrical. Step 1 prime ur pump with water before you turn it on for the first time! After I did that she primed up nicely. Step 2 the settings…. I did 3 different timers. 10 hours total. 3 hours at 1800rpm/4 hours 3000rpm/3 hours at 2000rpm. It’s working great and our projected electric bill is already down about $90. We had a 2.2hp Century that use to run 8 hours a day and was sooooo loud too. (Sold it for $150 😂) don’t wait just do it!

Would I buy it again?
Replaced a 2HP Hayward pump that failed after 16 years of everyday use. Hopefully this one lasts longer than some of the negative reviews have stated. I have an Aqualogic panel that is programmable but this pump replaced that programmer which is a bonus especially if you don’t have a timer or programmable panel. It’s an all in one pump/timer. The pump is not particularly loud but the pitch is much higher than my previous pump which is really annoying. I can’t stand the whine on high so I leave it on the middle setting which also saves some money. It’s still whiny but more tolerable than on high. The middle setting is also adequate enough to push our vacuum around and up the pool. I wish the pump had a backup battery or capacitor or at least non-volatile memory. We had our first outage and I didn’t realize the pump went dormant until a week later. Our pool has stayed clean while saving a couple of dollars so all good for now. Other than the whine, I love this pump and would consider buying it again.

Variable Speed Saves Money
This pump was purchased to replace an 18 year old (wow!) single speed pump that had finally given up the ghost, and it has been a game changer. We live in an area where pricing for power is variable based on the hour of the day, so the programmable features of the pump are perfect to maximize water flow when power is least expensive and also slow down flow when power is at peak pricing. We are able to program three different speeds M-F, two on the weekends, and there are still available programmable slots for if/when the electricity schedule shifts. By my conservative calculations, running on the schedule we have configured, the pump should pay for itself in reduced energy cost (versus the single speed pump we ran previously) by the fourth year of operation, and we live in an area where we only have the pool open about 4 months/year.
