True to its name
So this is a perfect device, maybe little expensive for the price. It can be found on found cheaper on many chinese website, it's made in china. However its pretty solid. Does exactly as it says. You can really have hard, soft or medium boiled egg.

Don’t buy this
First problem is it floats which makes it almost impossible to read, the second problem takes care of first problem by having the whole timer go black.I looked at other versions of this timer from this timer (for example round ones) and this same complaint exists there. So obviously they know they are selling a defective product but keep on doing itI’m at fault in this in that I didn’t look at ratings before buying cause I thought there’s no way they can have screwed up so simple a product, but clearly they’ve found a way and keep doing it

Nothing like the video's I had seen
This thing is the bomb.comSeriously, buy one. You won't regret it. Works the first time and every time after that.I was slightly concerned when I first got it out the package. The lines that tell you how hard or soft the egg will be cooked were really hard to see. Nothing like the video's I had seen. Never fear, toss it in the pot of water and vola! Easy to see the lines!

Love this little timer
I bought one of these from The Container Store over 12 years ago and love it. It fell in the garbage disposal a few months ago so I decided to replace it. It honestly still worked, but was all beat up and hard to read. This one arrived quickly and was exactly like my old one. Works great and is clear and easy to read. Whenever/if-ever this one dies I will be replacing it again!
