This truffle oil is amazing--seriously. Shipping was efficient and it came in the mail 3-4 days sooner than expected. I've used this for many things, ranging from truffle salted fries, unsalted popcorn, to just putting a dash in my cream based soups. You only need a small amount in whatever you use this with as it's very flavorful, so the oil carries over for a long time and is well worth the money. While there are two types of truffles (white and black) with different flavor profiles, I have used this oil in recipes that call for white truffle and it still tastes delicious. I'm not going to lie, when I first bought the oil, I thought I was going to receive an actual oil made from truffle--so be aware that this is just olive oil with a truffle mixed in. However, this doesn't seem to take away from the flavor and is still quite strong. I will definitely be stocking up again as soon as this batch runs out.

6 month expiration date?
I received this truffle oil with a 6 month expiration date. That's not good. The oil is extremely light in color. It tastes ok, not great.

The smell, the taste....it is unbelievable. I am a die hard truffle fan and love this product! I know truffle can be expensive but this is an average price for the quality of this oil. It goes on anything and makes any dish taste better! My favorite thing to do is cut some potatoes very thin, bake them, broil them really quick and then put truffle oil on top..they come out fantastic. Or for something quick, cook some pasta, put some truffle oil and some truffle salt maybe some Parmesan cheese and its very flavorful. I would recommend this to any foodie that is looking for a new flavor in their life or anyone that already loves truffle oil this is a high quality oil for a great price!

good, strong flavor
It's good oil. A bit strong for my tastes, but I still use it, just less. If you've tried the Trader Joe's black truffle oil that they had, this had a stronger flavor.
