Great for extreme weather
I bought this product for a recent trip to the far North of Sweden inside the Arctic Circle. I wore the Sealskinz head gaitor for both dog sledding and for use on a snowmobile. On both occasions, this head gaitor kept my head warm and dry whilst wearing a safety helmet in temperatures of minus 25 degrees celcius. I will definitely wear this Sealskinz head gaitor again for these types of pursuits.

Warm dry noggin
Fits nicely under a safety helmet. Ideal for cold / windy / showery days. You can stick another hat on over the top if it's really cold (and you don't need a helmet on). Quite like the fabric it's a good combo of comfy inside and shell layer outside. The mouth cover bit is very well designed, comfortable and easily moved out of the way, and stays out of the way.Not ideal for torrential rain unless you're wearing your coat's hood over the top - it will drip rain down under your collar. (Just wear it under a coat hood). But fine for less dreadful rain.Only downside I've found is it cuts out sound to the extent that on a site with background noise you can't clearly hear what people near you are saying. This may be a plus depending on who you're talking to, but on some jobs it might not be safe to be partially deaf. I take extra care when working near traffic with this on. You will not hear an electric car sneaking up on you.

Very intresting
The SEALSKINZ Unisex Waterproof All-Weather Head Gaitor can be worn as a neck warmer and then can be worn as a hat, the best thing is it is not bulky and just put on and forget keeps you warm and dry, neck warmer, hat, and balaclava.worth the price as it can be used all year for a hood also

Very good quality but too small for my big head. Didn't return it, I'll see if one of my kids can use it.

Versatile head gear
Really like this product as can be worn as a neck warmer as well as the full head gear. It has stood up to the terrible wind and rain of the last few weeks. It is snug fitting enough if I want to wear a Beanie on the top for extra warmth if needed.
