Perfect in between size
I was looking for a pan that was in between a mini cupcake pan and a standard size cupcake pan that would be closer in size to what the grocery store sells as "two bite cupcakes". This pan was perfect. A regular cake mix makes three dozen cupcakes in this pan instead of the usual two dozen in a standard pan. There are only two dozen cavities, so I did need to let the pan cool and then make the last dozen to use up the rest of the batter. I was a little hesitant at first because I could not find cupcake papers to fit, but then I found some at the Dollar Tree. The package says 100 count standard size, but you can tell by looking that they are smaller than that. They did stick up about half an inch taller than the pan, but held their shape just fine as it was baking. The pan is the nice, heavy quality that you would expect from Nordic Ware.

Good Pan and Quality
I made my first batch of muffins this morning with this pan, and they turned out great. No problems with uneven cooking etc. Aluminum is the way to go as well as made in the USA. As other reviewers mentioned, they are NOT MINI muffins. They are Petite. So just in between Regular size and Mini. They are actually about as shallow/deep as a mini muffin but not as wide as a normal muffin. Hope that helps.

Sturdy, Nice Looking, Bakes Well, Not Made in China
For a mid-grade price, it is very sturdy, nice looking, and is as easy to clean as any other well-made pan. Everything I have baked has come out very well (no burnt edges). I would purchase more pans from this company. I especially love that this wasn't made in China.

Love! But odd shape, and not dishwasher safe
Love nordicware aluminum bakeware. I've been slowly replacing all my other baking pans with this. Baked evenly, does not rust, cleans up nicely. This mini muffin tin is a bit of an odd shape. A little bit shallower and wider cups than what I would typically think of as mini muffins--so pay attention to the measurements. Also, nordicware aluminum bakeware is not dishwasher safe--or at least, the finish will be totally ruined/discolored if you run it through the dishwasher.

I love all the other Nordic products I have, but not the so called standard size Nordic muffin pan
I have 2 petite muffin pans, the finish on these are extremely polished and shinny. The finish on the standard size pan isn't nearly as well done. The sides of the cup are almost threaded, you couldn't put a threads per inch on it as in it isn't uniform like a machine thread, or organized like a wood or sheet metal thread. More like chatter or vibration in the machine that made the stamping die. I have nearly every microwave egg and bacon cooker they make, and now 3 muffin pans, 4 cookie sheets, and on my second set of the bowls with lids. The finish on all of these is very slick smooth and polished. The finish on this one is very rough and things stick to it like it's nobodies business. I love buying USA! I think this one has put an end to Nordic for me. Oh and it isn't really the normal/standard size! Unless you are in the Nordic factory?

High quality and all aluminum no toxic not stick coating
This item important to me because of the fact it's all aluminum and thus no toxic nonstick coating and the nordic brand has proved to be very high quality. I bought a few other items after I'd been using their cookie/half cake sheet for a year and amazed at how wonderful it is to bake with. Items bake evenly and efficiently, and the pan looks/stays brand new.None of my cookware has the non stick coating on it as this substance leeches into foods and is dangerous in production to our environment. But this means it is hard to find high quality items ,that aren't glass, to fill my baking needs. Love this brand only buying it now.

Almost Exactly What I've Been Looking For
Years ago at a garage sale I found a pair of muffin pans that had 9 cups in each pan, so they made 18 muffins in a size between regular and mini muffins. I still have those, but they have a seam/ridge around each cup, and I've been hoping to find a similar size that is easier to clean. The cups in this pan are a little wider and shallower, but they're the closest I've found.I use these for muffins, not cupcakes, so I don't care if there are no liners that fit. I like the crust on muffins and liners make the crusts soft.So,Pros:- More crust in proportion to the middles- Easy to clean- Nordic Ware quality, so they should last forever- They are the right size and shape to make tea cakesCons:- If you're trying to make cupcakes there aren't many liners that will fit- Almost too shiny, so it's harder to get the crusts brown, but that should improve with time- So shallow that it's hard to split the muffins open for buttering- Since the cups are all in one pan it's harder to turn them out, it needs a large platter or a sheet pan

Love my norticware!
I love all my pans from norticware. This is no exception. If you've never used these types of pans I recommend cooking spray before every use and if pans get really dirty looking over time, gently use an SOS pad to make it like new again.
