Good pump & worked as expected!
We had a predecessor model/version to this same pump that had a MFG date of 2010.We bought this one as a direct replacement, and it worked as expected!ITEMS OF NOTE:1. The noise reducing mounting “rubber grommets” were about 1/4” longer than the previous models, NBD, but I did need to get longer mounting screws than the previous model used.2. The pump weighs 8-pounds and IMO could have been packed a little better by the MFG. The reason that I mention this is because during shipment; due to the weight, shifting in the box, and kind of sharp angles on the pump edges, the power cable’s insulation was damaged and cut through leaving the copper wiring exposed. (The “copper strands” didn’t appear to be damaged at all, just exposed) I carefully wrapped the wires with electrical tape, but wished that I didn’t need to... IMO - the damaged insulation was NOT due to Amazon and/or shipping fault, the pump just could have been secured a little better by the MFG3. I will definitely be buying another, identical pump, to have on-hand as a ready spare, hoping to never actually use....

This pump is like an OEM RV pump on steroids!
Higher pressure/flow than average RV pumps. I like it better because it reacts faster and smoother to changes in flow/pressure due to faucets opening and closing at random. You should be aware that it does maintain a much higher static pressure (65psi to as much as 80-90 PSI) than most OEM pumps (45-55 PSI) so you need to make sure your plumbing is up to par and won't leak. One of the main things in their marketing that attracted me to buy this was they stated is was a variable speed pump. I was hoping that it would sound a lot smoother and make that common ratcheting type sound, but that is not the case. it still pretty makes the same kind of sound - just variable speed. It not smooth and continuous. I'm OK with that. It is a little quieter and faster to recover when a tap is opened. If you want to reduce noise (on any RV pump) use flexible supply hoses in and out of the pump with one loop in the line to prevent transmission of the pump vibrations to the hard piping in the RV. Also, set the pump loose on top of some soft cushion material like fiberglass insulation or bubble wrap, to reduce vibration to the floor.I like this pump for the above reasons and would recommend it if you wish to have better pressure/flow and recovery with just a tad less noise.

Great water pump for Class A RV
Exact fit for old Aqua-Jet pump I replaced. Needed o-rings for the fittings because what came with the pump was not enough for my installation. Easy hardware store trip. Probably best to replace the peripheral components with the pump. I did not, so I had to figure out where the air leaks were and replace o-rings so everything was leak tight.

Leaking after 2 yrs
It worked OK for a year or so. Then it started to pump after having been off for a while, and it wouldn't stop unless I ran water for a bit.Remco support told me there must be air in the lines. This doesn't make sense, but I opened every faucet to be sure I have bled every line. It sort of helped, but not really. If there was a leak in the lines, then it would come on every so often and build pressure and stop. But this would come on and not stop. I think this means that air must be getting into the diaphragm. Air isn't going to get into the pressurized side of the lines, water will leak out. After a few months of this, something seemed to snap. It would not shut off and it didn't deliver much water.I took the pump apart and found one of the 5 rubber diaphragm disks missing from it's correct place and jammed in the output.Support was telling me that no warranty unless I went through the dealer/distributor.

It is larger than the original in our RV and larger than most but mostly plug and play.
The pump is large but the thing is awesome. It is very quiet and the pressure is excellent. It increases the flow when additional faucets turn on.The original pump was rated at 40 lbs out and did not compensate for water flow conditions. This thing is excellent.

It worked for 8 months
We bought this unit to replace our OEM pump. It installed fine and worked great for 8 months. After trying to get help from Remco Industries (not Remco Products as provided) and the third party seller, Amazon came to my rescue by providing a refund!

Probably the highest quality & performance pump available.
These are pretty much the best performing pump you can get. They are also very high quality. The motor is heavy duty. They can also easily (and quickly) pump up to 120 PSI if you let them - they are that powerful.Fortunately, they come preset to 60 PSI max. Many complain about noise with this pump, that is not the pump itself, it's how you mount it and how the lines are routed to it. The recommended approach with these pumps is to put flexible hose to and from the pump.I did that but it made a horrible racket. It didn't matter how I repositioned it. So the other day I re-plumbed the suction and discharge side with 1/2" PEX. I changed the layout of the lines and now it's very quiet. If I put some insulation (rubber) under the pump it will probably be close to silent. Don't over tighten the mounting screws. Try it with them a bit loose to see how that affects the noise. This is one of the best pumps you can get, but you have to want to make it work. If that means fiddling with the mounting to make it quiet, so be it.Also, I've bought a few off Amazon and had to send them back because of shipping damage. For some reason, some models are just sent out the stock box put in a plastic bag. This one was shipped double-boxed (fortunately) and arrived safe and sound.I'm actually running this pump with a separate pressure switch (adjustable cut in and cut out) and also a variable speed controller for the pump. This way I have total control over the pump, with respect to volume and pressure. None of that is required, I just have a custom water system for high pressure and low flow to work with my on-demand water heater in my RV.You can just 'plug 'n play' this pump as it has conventional 1/2" RV fittings and it's own pressure switch. It also varies the pump speed using Pulse Width Modulation so it will increase speed or decrease speed as needed. It's really quite the pump. I highly recommend it if you need volume and pressure. You can run multiple faucets/showers/clothes washer all at the same time.Update: I relocated the pump later on, added a larger accumulator and needed longer lines. I chose not to hard plumb it with PEX this time and instead used stainless braided lines from Amazon. They were quite inexpensive and you get the benefit of rattle absorbing rubber lines encased in stainless braid. That worked out quite well and seems to be the quietest solution yet. Even so, I tie-strapped them so they weren't rubbing on anything. Not expensive to do and looks very cool. In the pic above you can see my custom solution. None of that is required, you can just use the pump as a stock replacement for yours right out of the box. I just wanted to do the pump justice and I do like my pressure high.

Time will tell
The photos show the condition on arrival. The box was not even taped shut. I didn’t want to install it initially when I realized the condition it arrived in so I phoned Amazon customer service. They refunded me 25% and advised to install it and contact them if there are any further problems. So I installed it and it makes my pipes rattle so it is very loud. It also wasn’t shutting off on its own. I will isolate my pipes and see how it goes. I hope it doesn’t blow my lines.

Great pump, just like at home pressure
Arrived quickly, easy to install pretty much plug and play. Very powerful Pump, water flow is extremly smooth and the pump is far quieter, sometime you can hardly hear it. Compared to other pumps that shake the whole trailer. Expensive unit but worth the money.

Easy to install
Easy to install and pushing water 50 feet up 40 degree slope. Drawing from 20 feet deep pipe with water level 7 feet from ground surface.
