Q: Will this work on plastic black gloss trims and will it protect and make it shine too?

I have a Citreon with black air-bumps, it works well on them...but I wouldn't say it makes them shine.

Q: Can this be used on a soft top ?.

I personally would not use it on the fabric of the folding roof. This product is designed for the metal and plastic parts of the car. I'm sure if you Google it, there will be products to clean and waterproof soft tops.

Q: So you clean your car, dry your car and then spray this on neat and rub it in? No water needed etc?

I have used this even during that fine rain that gets you wet. You dont need to dry the car, you can apply it wet. I tend to go round the car real quick with a big microfiber cloth just like you're wiping a worktop down, then back over with a couple of sprays per panel. It dries to a clean finish that repels water easily for a month, it lasts longer and is easier to apply than turtle wax wax it wet, auto glym super gloss protect and meguiars qwik wax. Only downside is it can dull flat body panels in a weird way when applied in direct summer sun, this needs correction with a good wash and reapplication out of the sun.

Q: Can i use this after i have tcut the car to remove small scratches?

This does not remove scratches, it will only protect the paintwork from the elements and give a great shine. I also found it appeared to keep the car looking cleaner for longer.
