LA Girl Matte Flat Velvet Lipstick - Poetic - GLC824

I ordered it in Poetic, and it's gorgeous! The color is great and it applies really well, it feels creamy, as well as actually being matte. It smells kinda like Shea butter and plastic but it's not bad at all. It doesn't dry out my lips, and it's easy application. I would totally recommend this! However, if you're getting poetic because you're looking for a grey, because I know a lot of people are going for grey lately, I wouldn't get it! It's more of a slate grey on the blue side. However, if slate grey that's more blue is what you're looking for, it's awesome! It looks wonderful with pale skin, and especially awesome with blue or eyes with some teal in them! (Also the shipping was great, so that's a plus)

Love the packaging. Came on time, was sealed, and intact. It slides on your lips nice and smooth. It seems to take a while to dry and doesn't dry fully matte but I love it because it won't dry your lips. Only issue is that this color (Poetic) goes on a little streaky and the smell is too strong, somewhat like chemicals. Overall, I do love the color and the texture. It is a great lipstick for the price.

Not the greatest, but for someone who doesn't like to spend a lot of money of lipsticks, like me, this is PERFECT! The color is just what it looks like.

got the Poetic color, expecting a nice neutral gray, comes out much more on the blue side and darker than expected. quality is great, color is not what I expected or what it seemed to be advertised as. Still in search of a nice lighter, neutral gray lip color.

It's blue, not grey! The matte is nice but the color isn't the same. Other than that, I like the lipstick.

It's a beautiful, dark gray color. It's super smooth and creamy for a matte! Not too dry at all and I love it. I will wear it alone, or mix it with other colors such as light pinks to give myself a nice deep purple/mauve lip. Love it!

I can't believe I bought this colour, it's so out of my comfort zone...but I must admit that it's gorgeous :). It's a beautiful shade and the lipstick is creamy, so no dry lips here. I highly recommend this new line from L.A Girl. I love all their lipsticks :D

I like the quality. But poetic is more light grey than the dark grey shown in picture

I love the colour, a true grey with a slate blue-ish undertone. Lovely formula, very comfortable to wear. It has a pleasant sweet smell (not over-powering). Good price point. I just wish there were slightly more product in there because it's a such an amazing lipstick! Very unique colour, would definitely purchase again. Also have shade 'Snuggle' which is a gorgeous brownish nude.

So far I loveeeeee this lippy, it's so unique and looks lush with my skin tone! I haven't worn it out yet it out yet or long enough to say whether it lasts or not, but what I do know is my friends will want one!! I didn't apply to much but my lips but the lipstick does look abit darker than the actual photo I took.

Great colour and has great coverage, lips feel soft and not so dried out like some other matte lippys. I did notice my lips are slightly darker since using it but not sure if its the lipstick or the recent bout of sunshine that's caused it.Overall its a great colour and creates a nice bold statement!

it's a gorgeous shade and I am always complimented when wearing it, the only drawback is longevity, it doesn't last as long as i'd like and its also quite drying, that said for the price what do you expect.

I have purchased the whole set of these almost, perfectly matte, but non dry formula and unique colours. Opaque colour after a few layers are applied, lasts a long time and look great, I even got a few compliments from a girl working in a make-up store. So I highly recommend.
