Florida's Healing Waters: Gilded Age Mineral Springs, Seaside Resorts, and Health Spas

Though I hoped for more mermaids, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! Tons of great information, tons of great photos. Written well, and with a nice flow. My only complaint is that the author should have included a map! I kept having to pause and look on Google Maps to see where different springs were/are located.

I’m a native Floridian and have enjoyed this book about the springs of Florida very much . It has beautiful illustrations and many interesting facts I didn’t know. This was a birthday gift from a friend. I also sent one to my friend for Xmas. She’s an avid kayaker of the springs .A great book !

This book was quite interesting. It has a lot of pictures of old Florida.

A lot of work went into this. Love the historical photos. Author did a very good job researching the Florida springs and putting them all together in one complete publication.
