Perfect for removing gel polish
I had been making my own tin foil squares and cutting up bits of cotton pad to make my own wraps for removing gel polish, but I looked at the price of these pre-made wraps and thought that they're so cheap it was worth a try to avoid the effort. These wraps are great!The foil is thick enough that it doesn't tear. The pads aren't too big so they don't need to be soaked in too much acetone. They are the perfect size to wrap your finger completely, covering the entire nail and sealing in your body heat to aid removal of gel polish.I use an empty vitamin drop dispenser bottle to store a small amount of pure acetone in. When it comes to removing my gel polish I can pipette a small amount of the acetone onto the pad of each wrap, place my finger nail over the pad and wrap my finger up with the foil. I leave it about five minutes and start scraping off the gel - if it's not easily lifting then it's simple enough to pop the wrap back over the finger.These are so cheap that's it's just not worth making my own! They don't leave any lint behind either which is a bonus.Pros:- I use less acetone with these wraps than when I make my own using cotton pads.- Cheap, but still great quality.- Saves time during removal vs. making your own wraps.- Lint free removal.Cons:- None!
