🌍 Adventure Awaits: Elevate your outdoor experience with the ultimate ultralight quilt!
The Sea to Summit Ember Ultralight Down Sleeping Quilt is the ideal sleeping bag alternative for bike packers, backpackers, hikers, and travelers who are looking for lightweight and highly compressible insulation, without the bulk of zippers or the constrictive shape of a mummy bag. High-loft, 850+ fill power down insulation (Responsible Down Standard certified) is treated with a non-PFC Ultra-Dry Down treatment to improve reaction to moisture, retaining loft and performance in rugged conditions. The Ember Quilt was designed for multi-season use with an excellent warmth to weight ratio. In warmer conditions, the ability to easily ventilate keeps you comfortable. As temperatures drop, the drawcord footbox helps you retain warmth. The light, breathable 10D shell fabric is treated with a non-PFC DWR finish to repel moisture, while the 20D liner fabric is there to deliver pure comfort. Snap on attachment straps secure the quilt to a sleeping pad, while a drawcord cinches the base into a foot pocket. QuiltLock system means the Ember can be secured to a Sea to Summit sleeping bag for additional warmth in colder weather. The Sea to Summit Ember Ultralight Down Sleeping Quilt is available in two sizes: Regular (max user height of six feet) and Long (max user height of six feet six inches); and two temperature ratings: 45-Degree for warm weather and 30-Degree for 2-season outings. Includes Ultra-Sil compression sack. Sea to Summit products are guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

Amazingly warm and lightweight
I don’t often write reviews, however after using this quilt in the back country I was compelled to offer my thoughts. First off I am a very cold natured person and I often get cold at night when temps drop below 40. I have been using a 0 degree down mummy bag and I feel it’s too confining, especially when you toss and turn during the night. I have considered switching to a quilt for quite sometime and I am so happy I did. I am 5’11 weigh about 178 lbs so I decided to purchase the long so I could place it over my head on cold nights. I just returned from a hiking trip in North Carolina where I was able to test the quilt in cold weather. Our first night on the trail, temps dropped down to about 28. I used a thermarest pro lite sleeping pad and my new sea to summit quilt along with a merino wool base layer and darn tough socks. I will say I have never been that warm when the temps were that low. There were times during the night when I had to pull the quilt down to cool off. That was a first for me. In the past my feet stay uncomfortably cold during the night, however they remained very warm throughout the night as well. I am now a converted quilt user. Lol. I love being able to turn and sleep on my side with ease. I was always unable to do that in my mummy bag.PRO’s: Very warm and spacious, light weight, packs down very small with the included compression bag (it takes some effort to pack in the compression bag due to the incredible loft). That is in no way a complaint as the loft really retains your body heat during the night. Appears to be well made, very soft against your body.CON’s. The price would be the only thing I would change. Lol, but you know the old saying, “ you get what you pay for”. I believe the money I spent on this quilt was well worth it. It kept me warm during my entire hiking trip. I would recommend this quilt to anyone who is looking to stay warm at night.

Like it.
I used this to supplement a three season bag for a winter camp out. Worked well. Haven’t used in the summer yet.

good quilt
I have used the quilt 2 times in the mid thirtys. I slept pretty warm both nights, I took one star off for the pad straps. The straps are hard to adjust while you are on the pad if you want to tighten them up and they come unsnapped easily letting in drafts. I plan on replacing the factory straps with some elastic straps that will be easier to deal with

ue on warmer nights
Very light weight and compact. Was hard to get the straps to work with a thiker sleeping pad.
