Himgange Ayurvedic Body and Hair Oil (Pack of 2) (100ml)

When you hear about ayurvedic hair oils which offer "coolness" as their main USP (unique selling proposition) the only product which may come to your mind is - Navratna oil.So I thought it would be nice to compare Himgange Oil with Navratna oil!1. From a marketing perspective I would say Navratna beats everything with brand ambassador from Bollywood and to splashes of TV advt galore. So the general audience like us have heard more of Navratna than Himgange!2. Surprisingly even after splurging on expensive advt. the price of navratna is cheaper than himgange per ml. This indicates only that Emami ltd which is the manufacturer of Navratna has more budget to market as compared to Burman which manufactures Himgange! So if price is your lookout then you know which product to go for!3. Let's look at the ingredients of both products. I have attached snaps of both bottles as part of this review. It's difficult to understand the ingredients of Navratna due to scientific names written in hindi. But himgange has simplified this by printing ingredients in english albeit by naming products in hindi. I like that. The tabular format of himgange is also faster to understand than the navratna one. Check it out for yourself4. But what's the bottom line in terms of general experience using both the herbal oils?4a. Himgange has a better fragrance than Navratna4b. Himgange is green while Navratna is red. Somehow green gives you a better feeling of herbals than red. This is just my perspective4c. Himgange coolness wins hands-down as compared to navratna. The coolness lasts more than an hour and a half vis-a-vis Navratna which lasts only upto 30 mins max. The strength of the coolness in terms of power is higher in himgange than navratna. That is one of the primary and most compelling reason why I have rated himgange 5-star!5. In terms of availability himgange may not be available so easily locally unless you buy from amazon6. The only commonality is both products are from Uttarakhand !So try Himgange! You will surely love it better than any other cool oil you are using. It was just chance that I came across this oil been mentioned in one the youtube videos I saw and hence I decided to try this with a 100ml bottle.
