Bird-XDeterrent Physical Barrier, Bird/Wildlife Control, 1400 sq ft (NET-STR-100), Black

This is the right stuff! It has enough rigidity to stay in place and sturdy enough that I think it will last well. The slight stiffness made it relatively easy for town people to unroll and install over rows of blueberries in somewhat tight quarters. I. could use it being one foot wider, actually: 14' wide seems standard. But I'm tall (6') and I like my netted areas tall enough to walk underneath. Problem solved by covering three rows with two lengths instead of one per row. May ultimately create a giant "pen" with outside coverage- probably most efficient. Good stuff! This was purchased July 2013. Will likely buy more for next season when my crop areas expand.I tried a few other brands available off the shelf from local hardware stores: that stuff is ridiculous! Stretchy weave and very lightweight: the only way you get 14' width is to stretch it to the max and somehow pin it down- left unstretched, it immediately shrinks back to about 3'! Very frustrating, and that stuff isn't cheap, either!

After getting about 3 years life out of the lighter 3/4 inch version of this netting, we decided to replace it with this "structural" netting for two reasons. The 3/4 inch netting allowed tiny clever birds to enter, and the lighter weight material tore when wrapped around sharp stone corners. This netting is definitely heavier duty, giving us the impression that it is about 3 times the weight. It is so strong that it has a mind of its own when wrapping it around corners and bends, and it does not drape as nicely. All things said, we like it and keep our fingers crossed that it will hold up better than the far less expensive 3/4 inch material. The only reason I docked the product 1 star is because we ordered 100 feet but were shorted 3-5 feet of material (it was cut crooked). I suppose we could have stretched it an extra 5 feet, but it was sent to us in a relaxed state and should have measured 100 feet when relaxed. So far it seems to resist tearing as easily when it catches a button now and then, or we accidentally snag and pull on it some other way. It definitely keeps out the birds while allowing in the bees. Another concern that I had was that the denser material might hinder our view of the garden. About the only time we notice it is when the sun hits it at an angle that produces a soft shinny reflection on the face of the vertical netting.

Netting itself is ok. The way it is rolled was at an angle that made it difficult to use. That affected the actual size of the product and is not as advertised. It also had some defects in the netting the closer you got to the bottom of the roll. I’d not recommend this product and go with a different brand. I cannot return this because it’s has been unrolled and cut. There was no way to know this when unboxed.

This was a lifesaver. The 25x25 i ordered, two of them, were only at best around seven feet at most (i did not put a tape on it i was so angry). I had to use two widths of this to cover the area fully of fruit bushs , using zip ties to put them together. This product was so tough i did not have a single rip. I wish I got the other product as the job was much more difficult due to my having no help. I am not as limber as I was when younger, i am old enough to have been issued my Medicare card, and have issues with joints and such. I would recommend this product.

The netting is excellent. However when I order 100', I expect to get 100', not 94. You basically ripped me off by 12 bucks.

was very strong and durable, only issue was it isn't a full 14ft wide, more like 13'8".

I don't like the folding for shipping, makes for more work on my end. It's rolled up but also folded. I wish there was a way to fold without such a firmly pressed lap. It doesn't damage the netting, just it makesme work harder to measure for a specific cut. Of course, the real nice quality of it trumps everything.It's good enough for me to return for a follow up purchase soon.

I used this netting to protect my blueberries from birds. It was light and easy to roll out and work with. It was wide enough that it didnt need to be weighted down. Just what I wanted.
