The product recommends leaving a 2-3cm layer 4-6 hrs. But if you want to leave it over night cover it with clingfilm so it doesn't dry out. I'd recommend getting 1 extra tub for your job as they are quite small. The product comes off really easily with a scraper, also you can use acetone to clean up with. I really liked this because it was non toxic, and i suffer badly with contact dermatitis when handling chemicals and I didn't break out once using this 😅

The product itself worked amazing at taking the tile paint off my bathroom tiles. Only problem I had was when the box arrived, the inside was wet and the lid of the tub was bubble so wasnt sealed properly or was damaged in some way.Took 2 layers to get the paint off my tiles and the peelings where easy to just wipe off after the paint had bubbled up.Put the lid back on the tub and put away, next day floor was covered in the product as it was leaking from some part of the tub, so in the bin it went.Overall product was great but packaging needs to be improved or at least check the tubs are not damaged or leaking/lids on properly before they are sent out

Done a brilliant job stripping steps back down to bare wood to sand and clear varnish.does a great job once brushed on paint left for 24hrs paint comes off with a good scraper with ease some areas needed 2 coats

Works well and did exactly what I needed it to do although needs more care when packing as the lid leaked

Hardly smelt at all, nice and thick gel consistency, easily stripped 4 different layers off stair banister, messy cleaning up as really sticky, good value for money and goes a long way really.

I see in the comments people saying thing's like this is not gel or it just does not work, firstly is isnt a gel until you apply/paint it slowly and carefuly on your project then leave it until the next day, you then scrape it of and the softened paint comes away easily with it, then you just use a bucket with a little warm water and a cloth to tidy the area up, secondly those who say uh it does not work are you folowing the instructions? you cant just apply it and expect it to remove the paint instantly or if you do soak something in this stuff you need to rub the paint off once it has softened overnight, it is not a solvent type product that removes instantly. it does work if used properly and you follow the instructions.

Should be a gel its more liquid in a stupid plastic tub had leaked in transit got covered in it just getting the lid off wanted for door frame took most of paint off with hot air gun wanted this just to clean off remaining small areas didnt touch it eventually turned to a sticky slimy mess probably end up with a new door frame rubbish not fit for purpose

Well it arrived damaged with most of it spilt (I did get a refund). I tried the little bit that was left on a test area and it removed the top layer of paint but only the top layer, after that it would have needed a coat for each layer of paint- I’d have ended up using gallons of the stuff! Also quite messy but I can see that it would be effective for lightly covered wood.
