Right. Who in the name of William Wallace’s ghost thought it’d be a grand idea to SEW a sporran onto a kilt? Aye, I bought this monstrosity thinking it’d be a fine bit of kit, but what I got instead was a disgrace to my ancestors.First off, the sporran is UPSIDE DOWN. What in the fiery pits of hell is that about? A sporran is meant to be a handy pouch for yer essentials—flask, keys, maybe a lucky charm—but this useless stitched-on nonsense barely holds a fart. I tried to put my wallet in, and the thing just flapped open like a dead fish. It’s about as secure as a wet paper bag.Then there’s the fact that it’s SEWN ON. You cannae even remove it! A proper kilt lets ye swap out sporrans depending on the occasion—a formal leather one for a wedding, a casual day sporran for the pub. But nah, this abomination forces you to commit to a single, shoddy, upside-down disgrace for the rest of yer days.The kilt itself? Flimsy. Feels like it was stitched together by a half-blind sheep with a grudge against Scotland. The pleats are all over the place, and the material’s so thin that a strong gust of wind nearly had me arrested.If my grandfather saw me in this, he’d rise from the grave just to slap me with a haggis. Avoid this kilt like ye’d avoid an Englishman claiming to know how to make a proper Scotch pie. Absolute shambles.
