Love it so much we got it twice
My 2 year old loves this, we actually ended up getting it for a friend from their birthday. Great quality and house of open play fun!

Perfect Toys!
These are hand-me-down generational quality toys! These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What's not to love? The minute you recieve one you realize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). I love that they are all dishwasher safe for sterilizing. We have decided to keep all the Green Toys in a toy box in our main livingroom for 2 reasons. When we have company with children or playmates visiting, they can all just dive into these toys and we don't have the aggravation of my grandson's other toys being dragged out with multiple pieces, and those are not all small child safe, and we can not just throw them in the dishwasher afterwards as we can these. These are literally worry free toys when children are visiting (other than the aforementioned throwing, or maybe banging over the head, so yes you still must parent as we should be anyway). Second, after dinner, when there is just a small window of time for bath and playtime before bed, these are hassle free and the only toys we let him drag out because they are simple and easy pickup. BONUS, they are MADE IN THE USA, and of completely recycled materials. I have not seen that many quality toys like these other than ones made in the 1940's or so, where good craftsmanship (as these are) mattered, even in a toy. We have at least 2 dozen of these toys and they have become an awesome gift item especially when they go on sale, which is often. They are literally the PERFECT toys!

Fun toy for in or out of the bath
We got this for our 2-year-old for Christmas because she noticed and got happy whenever an airplane flies overhead. She loved it and ended up using it in the bathtub most of the time. It's a solid toy other than the back hatch, which she somehow managed to get undone at the hinge and the release tab jammed inside—not once, but twice. We had a hard time fixing it both times. As I was trying to pry it out, the tab felt flimsy like it was going to break.

Solved my moldy bath toy problem
We love Green Toys! Especially for the bath as they are so easy to clean. I was getting tired of throwing out moldy squirt toys and this was just what I was looking for. The design is so simple, but still lots of fun. I love that the propellers actually turn when you move it over the water. We have a submarine toy from this company as well and it is equally great. I hang them upside down in a mesh bag after each bath and they dry out quickly and do not get moldy! The quality is great too, I can see these lasting for a very long time. I also love that they are made out of recycled milk jugs.

Good but for the hatch (stick a screw in it)
Great looking durable toy. Like all their toys, leaving it outside or worse, in a pool or something can result in the interior getting coated with algae and/or slugs. Then you take it back inside and put it in a hot bath and it all comes out into the bath (a good soaking and agitation in hot soapy water can mitigate this if you’re aware/remember it was soiled). To help with this, their water toys, like the submarine, have a little access port to get in there with a brush or a paper towel on a stick or something. This plane has a little hatch. The hatch is small... and doesn’t stay attached. Their toys are built incredibly solidly and taking them apart is kind of an ordeal, if even possible...I ended up putting a small stainless steel screw through the hatch to keep it in place. You could hot glue it or silicone it closed. But then if you get something in there or it gets filthy, you’re pretty much stuck.A little screw is easy enough to fix this problem. A good silicone would also do the trick. But a star off for having to pick up after the designer.Similar the submarine. Sometimes it pops open

Great water toy
Picked this up for the 2-year-old grandson. Also picked up the submarine. It's a very simple constructed toy. Boys of this age are the ultimate in testing the destructibility of toys. He enjoys playing with the plane in and out of the water. It's been given the bam-bam test repeatedly and so far, it's holding up well. It's easy to clean and there hasn't been any slimy mold growth. Hope to use it in the pool this summer.

Call 9-1-1 and send the rescue plane!
Kiddo really likes his “firefighting” plane, in the tub, in the spa, and in the play room. It is constructed well, although kiddo keeps trying to open the back ramp (I don’t think it is supposed to open). This company makes great toys.

Both under and over 5 years like this plane.
This plane is larger than the image suggests, sturdy, good for play in the bath and more for a low price.

Great and sturdy water toy.
If I could give more than 5 stars for sturdiness and durability I would. I started getting my grandkids different Green Toys a few years ago. They still have all of them and they're in great shape...and they have not been pampered!! I love these toys!!

Sturdy, simple, awesome, made in USA
Love these toys! Simple and sturdy like old fashioned toys used to be, but with the fresh look and colors, plus little details that the old toys didn't have! Big bonus things for me are that they are made from recycled materials and made in the USA! It just doesn't get any better. I was just admiring it on the floor outside the bathtub thinking how cool the design was and how my sons like having a plane they can play with in the bath. Cool handle and pour spout "designed" in!

Gift
This is a gift for my nephew. I’ve owned other products by green toys and they have all been top notch. My daughter still plays with her flower bouquet toy I got from them. She’s had it for 3ish years. Also love that they use recycled materials.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING
I almost never give ratings this low. I hate to do it here because I have been a huge Green Toys fan for several years now. I have written several other five star reviews. HOWEVER, we have had such a negative experience this winter. Basically, we firmly believe something changed this year in their manufacturing process. I read a few cautionary reviews here and there about a strong awful scent but thought, "How bad could this possibly be?" or "Maybe it is just stored by laundry detergent?" So, I ordered toys anyway for Christmas. This one, the carrier/race car combo, the combo dump truck/shape sorter, the cute toy house, and the green and red Christmas train, ALL WREAKED of this nasty perfume, chemical scent. I cannot even tell you how bad it is. They each had it to various degrees but all of them still made us feel sick. Some of them were so bad my spouse and I felt sick the rest of the day, especially with lung and throat irritation. At first I thought it was just the cardboard on the toy, so I tried the following: airing out in fresher air, setting it aside for weeks to "out gas." NOTHING WORKS. One toy we were stuck with so we decided to try soaking it in a bathtub. It has now been soaking for NINE days and still smells awful. If you Google this you will find numerous complaints about this recently and on their other toys besides these. If they address this issue and fix it in future toys, I will change my score as I have always loved this brand. However, I cannot in good conscience give anything above a one star at this point. This wasted a ton of resources... all the shipping, reshipping the ones I could return, researching other toy options, and reordering. Yes, this is definitely a first world issue. I wholeheartedly admit to that. Yet, for families out there like ours who have significant health sensitivities to chemicals and rely on certain brands to be what they promise, I have to be honest. I sincerely hope this issue is rectified and they go back to whatever process they used before that had no smell that lingered whatsoever. For now, I recommend calling the company, waiting to purchase when numerous reviews (not just one or two) all indicate there was no smell whatsoever, or buying these from friends whose kids are past this age if you can find them. I hope this helps someone and saves you some time.

Great for “rough and tumble” kids
Wonderful and durable toy! Great for inside or outside! These have become my kids new “go to” toys. They have gone to the store, as well as to and from school. They are great for everyday play, the bathtub or water tables, pretty much anywhere your child’s imagination can take them. My kids destroy toys like it’s going out of style, so these are great for my family. Easy to open packages make it easy and fast to open for your impatient kids 😉
