Great deal works really good am super happy with my purchase. I also used a laptop fan to keep it cool whole using it in my doors not sure it was necessary but it made me feel better. Good little projector for $50
I am using this in a RV bedroom where there is very limited space for a bigger TV to test the feasibility of this setup. It works surprisingly well and now I have a HUGE TV in my RV bedroom. I built a light ridged screen I hang form the ceiling on the far wall and get about a 6' wide x 3' tall image. Huge for the room and fun. The setup works well. For $50 I'd say it does a good job. This is in a room that is pretty easy to block out ambient light and provide a good environment for this to work. I'm assuming this pretty important for any projector to work well. The picture quality is good, very watchable and looks good. I also bought a soft hanging screen and found a good bit of the projector light shines through the screen and in my case bounced off a large mirror behind it and reflected back onto the back side of the screen. this washed the image out slightly. Going to a ridged none permeable screen made a lot of difference in the image quality. I'm pretty happy with the performance now overall for $50. The image is slightly fuzzy, the focus diminishes from the center out, the edges are not in focus when the center is, to some extent. The internal speakers are average at best and the volume control varies very little from low to high. Volume from 10-100 is about the same. Over all my experiment is a big success and I'll probably get a more expensive one, that has a better picture overall, the ability to focus form the remote, and bluetooth for my soundbar (thought this had that, it does not). Happy with the unit and for $50 does a good job and provides a usable picture. I'm satisfied.

Solid at this price but make sure it's what you want
Picked this up for $75... similar to taking the family out for a movie and some fast-food.At that price it's a solid offering. The price is the basis on which I can give it five stars. It is hard to imagine doing better at that price. We're happy what this projector can do and we're happy to save money. But make no mistake, if you want a $2,000 projector, you should purchase a $2,000 projector. If you paid $2,000 for this projector, one star would be fair.DO BUY IF* You want to get away with the minimum viable spend on a projector** You plan to plug in an external speaker(s) or are happy with basic built-in audio speakers** You're planning to watch at night (or in low light)** You're fine with the native 1280*720 resolution** You can tolerate limited contrast in very "dark" scenes* You really need the ability to use "cast" to a projector using wifi and you understand the limitations of doing this (more below)DON'T BUY IF* You would be just as happy spending 10x, 20x or 30x more. You've got plenty of better options if you're willing to throw down serious cash! (but unlikely any better options at this price)* You're hoping to cast Netflix/Disney+ or similar from your phone. Those services all prevent screen-casting (it's not a limitation of the projector) so it won't work.GENERAL COMMENTSWireless casting is less exciting that you might think. It's only useful for YouTube or other services that don't have digital rights management built into them. You should also understand that the image quality is a little less crisp when casting wirelessly.I plug a cheap Firestick into the projector and the quality of the same video over HDMI vs wireless is noticeable. Once you have a FireStick or similar plugged in then there's basically no reason to ever use wireless casting anyway. The unit has two small speakers. They are passable. But if you want some bass or greater volume you should plug in an external speaker.I suggest you play around with the brightness, contrast and color... you can improve on the factory defaults in my opinion.

Compact, yet mighty--Super clear picture!
This projector is compact and powerful! A mighty projector that will amplify your viewing pleasure; offering a theater experience in the comfort of your own home. The projector offers a variety of easy plug and play hook-ups (see image). Out of the box, set up literally took me less than 60 seconds. I plugged my Roku directly into the unit and even paired my surround speakers to enhance sound. The unit does offer sound through its own speakers and is loud and clear enough that external speakers are not needed---however, I liked having the ability to add surround sound speakers with a simple aux connection. The unit does get hot quick, but the fan does its function and is quiet enough not to interfere with viewing. With the powerful 8500 lumens, I have only used this in daylight so far and the picture is clear and crisp (see image). With the 1080P, I know the image quality is HD, offering super clear images. I'm even more excited to use this for an outside movie night. The handy remote also makes switching between sources seamless. Overall, a great projector, especially for those looking to get into the home theater experience for the first time---at a very reasonable price.
