Palm size perfect perfection effortless shaving
The Remington Balder Pro Shaver has genuinely impressed me. If you're looking for a convenient, efficient, and comfortable shaving experience, this little device delivers.First off, the ergonomic design is fantastic. It fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, making it incredibly easy to maneuver around the contours of your face. I found it remarkably comfortable to use, even in those tricky areas around the jawline and neck. The performance is equally impressive. The blades provide a consistently clean and close shave, leaving my skin smooth and irritation-free. I was pleasantly surprised by how effective it was, especially considering its compact size. It handles stubble with ease, and I haven't experienced any pulling or tugging.Another major plus is the battery life. This thing holds a charge like a champ! I've used it multiple times without needing to recharge, making it perfect for travel or just keeping in your gym bag. The convenience of a long-lasting battery is a huge advantage.Cleaning is straightforward, too. A quick rinse under the tap is all it takes to keep it in top condition.Overall, the Remington Balder Pro Shaver is a winner. It's user-friendly, provides a great shave, and boasts impressive battery life. If you're in the market for a portable and reliable shaver, I highly recommend giving this one a try. It's a fantastic value for the price.

Two years and still going strong.
I was wet shaving with safety razor and an expensive cartridge system on my face and head. My wife gifted me an electric razor for my birthday. While it shaved my face very well, on my scalp it was great but laborious. Then in the summer of 2023 I purchased this to try on my scalp as the Braun S7 was frustratingly inconvenient for my head. I was happily amazed. That was 21 months ago and it is still going strong with daily use. I do charge it full after each shave. Both wet or dry no issues at all on my head, neck or face (I just don’t press too hard on my neck). If I use it wet, I prop the trimmer open to let the water drain out, and then dry out before recharging it overnight. Compared to my Braun it is not as close a shave, but is far quicker. My typical routine is a few minutes of this followed with a quick (max two minutes) touch up with my Braun. I find that this gives a wet shave a decent run for the money. While a wet shave is still a closer shave, it is not as convenient or as rapid. Both wet with clear shave gel or a quality soap, or dry alone or with a dusting of Gold Bond powder, work quite well. I bought a replacement blade set at 1 year and I’ll do so again in a few months. A few weeks ago I thought the gears were giving out (loud gear grinding sounds with frequent stopping). I removed the four screws holding the head cassette together and discovered a ton of debris - ? hair trimmings, dead skin, soap residue, spent silicone grease? …. A quick few minutes of cleaning with water and a toothbrush and I had the plastic gears clean and turning again like new. It’s been dropped too many times to count but just keeps on going. Highly recommended.

Close, but not quite
I really wanted to love the Remington Balder Pro XR7000. It promised speed, convenience, and cost savings compared to traditional razors, which was appealing. However, after giving it a fair shot, I find myself somewhat torn.Let’s start with the positives. The design is ergonomic and comfortable to use. It fits well in the hand, making it easy to maneuver. The hair capture chamber is a thoughtful feature, minimizing mess during the process, though you have to be careful emptying it. Plus, the price is hard to argue with—it’s affordable for what it offers, and that’s no small thing. The lithium battery performs as advertised, providing plenty of cordless runtime. I’m old-school and tend to leave gadgets like this plugged in, so I never ran into any charging issues. That said, it’s worth noting I’ve read about other users having problems in that area. But here’s where my enthusiasm wanes: the closeness of the shave. I was hoping this would deliver razor-like results, but it doesn’t quite get there. It leaves my scalp at a length that looks like the regrowth I’d have by the end of the day with a traditional razor. By the evening, the shadow is visibly noticeable. For me, that’s a dealbreaker—I like a perfectly clean-shaven look. If you’re aiming for facial use, prepare for a bit of a scruffy “hobo shadow” by mid-afternoon.That said, for someone less particular about absolute closeness, this shaver might be perfect. It does what it says on the box: delivers a fast, comfortable shave with minimal mess. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t meet my personal standard for a clean shave. In the end, I can’t fault Remington here. This is a well-designed, budget-friendly product that lives up to its promises. It’s just not quite the match for what I was looking for.
