When I tell you this worked so well! I mean within 10 minutes I could tell a difference. The smell was awful, I'm pretty sure it is in the wall because I cleaned and bleached the whole area and nothing helped but this did!! It has been there over night now and you can hardly smell anything now. So happy I bought this!!

Had something stinky (maybe dead mouse in our ductwork?) in our basement. Removed a ceiling tile & placed the bag up there. The odor was reduced after a day and gone 2-3 days later. Yay!!

Something died behind the wall in my daughter's bedroom although my house seems well sealed up from pests. In any case, it has stunk up the room bad. We know within a foot of where this thing is but short of cutting into the wall to remove it, there's not much we can do. We are guessing it is a squirrel considering how long the smell has lasted...it started a few days before Christmas. We are going on about 10 days now. I tried charcoal briquettes, baking soda, coffee grounds but nothing worked so I ordered this stuff and put the pouch right next to where we think the dead animal is. After leaving it for two days, it hasn't helped one bit. Not at all! Smell is only getting worse. So I've asked for a refund which at least is an option.

I live upstate New York, and animals getting inside are a fact of life. Well something we heard scratching inside the wall did not make it out and the dead animal odor was pervasive. I tried multiple things to get odor to go away.I place this bag on the floor where the odor was and overnight I would say the smell was gone about 80 per cent. How this works this way I have no idea, but good enough for me because the smell was so bad.

I had something die inside the back wall of my walk-in closet. After two attempts it could not be located. Therefore, to avoid costly deconstruction/reconstruction of the walls, it was recommended to wait it out. I purchased these (2) in hopes it would help with the odor of the decomposing animal. It did to slightly reduce the intensity, however, it does not completely remove it. I must add that there was no way to ventilate this closet, i.e. window, and had that been an additional option, it may have worked better.

I had a small mouse die under my dishwasher and even after he was removed and the area was bleached, the smell was HORRIFIC! I couldn’t stand to be in my kitchen, let alone consider eating there! As a last resort I went online searching for something dog safe that would remove the absolute stench in my kitchen when I stumbled across this product. Do not hesitate if you are fighting the smell of death….buy this miracle product!!!!! You’ll thank me later! I will say in fairness that I put it in a cabinet next to my dishwasher where the smell was most concentrated. I do not know if this would work as well in a larger, more open area, but I would definitely recommend trying it!

Absolutely the best. We had dead rat in wall, got it out early but it was stinky!!!!! After cleaning area with bleach, we put one of these in & temporarily put drywall back up. It started working within hour and by next day 100% better. Will leave in for month or so & then follow directions to reuse if possible or order another.

I did not see a difference in order when I placed these as instructed. We had dead animal under house.
