Gold Star Cincinnati Style Original Chili Seasoning. (3 Pack)

Gold star was my first try and skyline was my 2nd. I prefer the flavor of gold star and was nice to pick up some to make my own at home. Item came fast and is far from expiring. Great service

I introduced family to Cincinnati style chili over the holiday. It was a mega hit! This seasoning pack makes it easy to prepare. Just need 1 lb of ground beef and a 4-6oz can of tomato paste. Easy to prepare.When I was cooking it everyone said it smelled good... We all could hardly wait to eat it! So delicious!This is going to be a repeat buy.

Actually much better than I thought it would be. Most items like this don't really taste like the original. This is about as close as you can get to the real thing. If you like Gold Star or Cincinnati chili,. give it a try.

We moved away from Gold Star and really miss it. Thank God for these. At least we can still make it at home.

Taste good

This is the Greek cinnamon base chili recipe not the Texas burn your mouth with spice chili. Those complaining of no or low taste don't get it or are use to the Texas "hit you with a 2x4 taste".Almost the same recipe as the orig Empress chili parlor of old. I do add beans for the extra fiber and proteinbut the key is to slow cook the meat and beans over 4-5 hours in a crock pot then the seasoning really blossoms into the meat..."ready in 20 min" isn't CINN chili it's nasty! cook it all day slow heat and see if this isn't great!

Love these packets-make a nice thick sauce. Prefer these over the Skyline brand which seems somewhat watery
