The i3 is not designed to work in the same way as other KORG workstations such as KROME, KROSS, and KRONOS, instead it has been conceived with simplicity centered around the operation. The sequencer allows you to record your playing along with the auto-accompaniment as MIDI data (user song). We would recommend one of our other products for individual 16-track recording and looping.

Good Afternoon, Thanks for your question. There are step-by-step instructions on how to load and playback MIDI files using the built-in sequencer from page 22 of the i3 owner's manual. Yes, you can connect the Korg I3 to a computer using one of the 2 USB ports. The Korg I3 does not have any speakers so you would need to connect to a powered speaker or use headphones.
