I love the build quality and the design.It's very sturdy and well made.One downside is that it's a little TOO sturdy that it was extremely hard for a woman to open it up.I needed my brother in the beginning and I once it was unfolded, I could adjust it on my own.The hindges are extremely stiff but again, it also stays in position even if I am typing on my laptop on top of it.Overall I'm happy with the quality and I'll be using it with my Macbook.

Wonderful product, very heavy duty and light weight (3 lbs). It has nice grippers to prevent your Mac From sliding. It has a tray space underneath your computer to store keyboard, mouse etc. I would definitely recommend and would purchase again!

This is a good stand for my 17 inch computer. It's sturdy and I don't worry about it falling off. The tension isn't loose which is good. Folds down for easy storage. I also use it to read my books. The height is perfect.

I have a larger 17" laptop. I use it as a desktop basically. I use my dining room table as my work space and needed something to raise my laptop so it was more ergonomic. This is a great solution for that. Yes as others have said the hinge for moving/adjusting it is very stiff but that allows it to stay in that position. I have it adjusted how I want it and do not touch it from that position. I can imagine if you were wanting to adjust it to alternate height or position often this might be annoying. My laptop size is towards the maximum size recommended and that makes it not as stable as it would be for a smaller more compact laptop. It does what I need it to do but it isn't as stable as it would be if I didn't have such a large sized laptop. I do like that is has room for my speaker underneath. Works great for me and is sturdy but it all depends on what you need and the size of your laptop. I feel like I am not able to use all the features due to the size of my laptop but it does what I need.

stiff joints to allow laptop to stand more vertically, cutout to insert cables, flipped the laptop to rest on face since cutout doesnt align with my fans, has a little indentation to set additional small devices which is kind of cool

This is far better than rain drop model and it comes in half of the price. It is minimal and study. It can be easily folded and put a side when it’s not needed. Super happy

1st of all I literally purchased this yesterday afternoon at work and I got it this morning before leaving for work! Can we say instant gratification?I haven't had it in my hot little hands for longer than an hour and I'm already thinking of buying one or two more of these! This is absolutely perfect for my home "studio".What motivated me to get this was have elevation and a tilt to whatever device I'm using so that I can place my keyboard in front and slightly underneath. The base of the stand is flat so it is a practical solution, however, I'm sure the rubber feet I added to my keyboard helps to make sure there's no rocking while I type.An unexpected plus is that stand is impressively sturdy, solid and stable. It is a very attractive stand and I can totally see how it will help will keeping hot devices cooled. I even put my 25 key midi controller on it and put some added pressure as if I were playing heavy handed and it stayed in place!The only real con I can think of is that it's hard to open and collapse but I think that's a good/bad thing depending on individual circumstances and uses.
