I have bought basically every pistol rack of Amazon over time, attempting to save literally a few bucks off of buying a Savior, thinking I was somehow going to discover some secret method to, well, save literally a few bucks. Some were ok (the main one that was, any subsequent orders of the same rack the quality was a mess), most were absolutely awful and literally $2 of foam for $20, and all just felt cheap and not worth anywhere near the money they were asking - basically just trying to bleed gun people, who are, as we know, notorious for spending way too much on stuff.Finally I decided I'd try a Savior since everyone raves about them. The main thing keeping me away from it till now was the plastic dividers, I'm OCD about things banging into things and making noise, but I figured since the width is wide enough, might not be a problem.From the second I picked up the package I knew it was completely different from any other one I'd bought. Super heavy package, I was literally shocked at that kind of weight as I was used to nothing but the cheapest possible materials someone could pawn off. Super dense foam, good quality plastic, actual metal ends, and solid metal rods (unlike the hollow ones of literally every other "brand"), everything is the highest quality you can get for this price.Setup was a breeze, even with me doing part of it wrong because of my stubbornness in not reading the directions haha, and I could not possibly be any happier with the end result. Plenty of space, looks awesome, quality on point, you couldn't ask for more. Savior and the rack deserves the rep. I get it now.Would it be cool to have a foam-lined insert one someday? Yeah. Is it the end of the world if there's not? No. I'll still buy another when this one fills up.The only "mistake" they made was sending me black when I ordered gray, which actually was the best thing that could have happened because I wanted black anyway, I only ordered gray because it would get here faster. Perfect!Will absolutely buy again. This is one of the only firearm-related products I've ever bought off Amazon that I am 100% happy with and which I feel is 100% worth the money. Don't cheap out on the other garbage racks, spend the few extra bucks and get something you will actually be happy with. Think how much you've already spent on what's going in it haha. And buy from someone who actually gives you a product that matches the price and clearly respects the gun community through the product they provide, unlike the other randar "brands" that are instead just trying to bleed what they can through the lowest possible quality possible.Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

My brother asked for a gun rack for his safe for Christmas so this is what I chose. He said he loves it holds his collection of antique firearms in place and is protected and secure.

This pistol rack is high quality, especially for the price. The outside on the left and right side are made out of metal, and the dividers are made out of a hard plastic (almost like ploymer). It can hold my little micro 380 (2.7 inch barrel), as well as bigger handguns. Overall this pistol rack is great quality and fits my needs. I don't think you'll find a better one on Amazon. I also think it looks cool to top it off.

There's always a "but..." with products like this. Overall the quality is great, and -- yeah -- it totally works for its intended purpose. And, honestly, it's basically the best and most convenient storage solution for handguns. That said, there are issues.Those issues are mainly associated with sizing and modularity. For context, I don't own a lot of guns -- three handguns at the moment, that I foresee perhaps building out to five, total. So my needs aren't extensive. I'd originally ordered the 6-slot rack, despite knowing it wouldn't fit in my small safe. I thought `okay, I'll just leave off one of the sections and make it a 5-slot rack. With the parts supplied, however, it can't be done, since the connecting rods are only threaded on the ends. They should include rods with threading all the way down, so they could be cut down to accommodate reconfiguration. And: yeah, sure, I could just go get some threaded rod to make it work, but I decided I was lazy enough to not want to do that just for my purposes at the moment.The slots themselves are a little too wide. With a very much full-sized, double-stack 9mm pistol in the slot, there is gobs of room left over. There's no need for the standard sized slots to be that wide -- they should cut them down by at least 20% and then perhaps offer one for oversized applications. I'm right there with another reviewer, here, who mentioned cutting down the foam inserts to a more reasonable size. Before I go that route, however, I'd just built one of my own design, from wood.So bottom line, it's slightly annoying to be limited in size to the 4-slot rack, with each slot taking up more space than I could ever possibly need. But for the money spent, and for the time-being, it's fine.

Works well as an affordable way to avoid just having a pile of handguns rubbing on eachother.

I read reviews on numerous pistol racks and decided the Savior was the best option. I wanted to organize and declutter my safe…..plus make it easier to store my handguns. Very impressed with the quality of this kit and I will probably purchase one as a gift.The kit was organized and packed so no items could be damaged in shipment. All the components are quality and I like the steel and the paint finish. The polymer and hard foam pieces did not have any imperfections and were wrapped safely for assembly. I bought the Tan 12 slot version. I have a mix of pistols and all of them fit great in each slot. I did not have any trouble with assembly. Thread the nuts loosely until you tighten it at final assembly. The instructions are easy to follow. After I slid all the parts together, I turned the rack on its side to thread the nuts loosely until I tightened it together with the provided Allen wrenches. Do not over tighten like other reviews say. My advice is to use the packing foam in the box to lay the rack on as you assemble it.I would definitely purchase another one. It is a little taller than the other ones I considered but it keeps your guns from falling over. Just make sure to measure your space. Great product! Thanks!
