Here's how to use these little guys
This is for the tiniest size, the .12 inch. You could fit about four of these on the tip of a pencil eraser.I understand your frustration. You think the dots are too difficult to remove from their little homes and transfer to whatever you're using them for.The trick is to use curved tweezers and to leave the long backing on as you work. If you try to use these dots without a curved tweezers, you're going to lose your mind. When you get the hang of it, you'll see how remarkably simple it is. It can actually be rather Zen.With the curved tweezers, pick off the wee covers of the dots, one short row at a time. It takes a little practice but you'll figure out the correct tweezer angle and the timing to squeeze the tweezers to grab and remove/pick off each wee cover. It's important to point the tweezers' tips down, as though you're stabbing the dots. If you approach the dots with your tweezers resembling an ice hockey stick, turn the tweezers over.Once you get a row of covers off, it's time to transfer the dots to the paper or balloons or whatever. Dig in with the tweezers, again as though you're stabbing (rather than hitting a hockey puck), slipping each tweezer tip along opposite sides of the dot. Squeeze a bit -- this will squish the dot -- and tug. The dot will release from the long backing paper. Now it's in your tweezers and ready to apply.Stick the dot onto your surface. To make sure it stays put and springs back from its squished state, give it a little pat with the end of the tweezers tip. That's all there is to it.

Very tiny
I didn't realize how super tiny these foam dots were when I made this purchase. I guess I didn't read the description very well. I mean, these are really tiny dots. On the package it says they are 0.12 inch, and that is probably accurate, but I haven't measured them myself. That being said, I have actually been very happy to have these tiny little dots and found they come in very handy when layering cardstock for projects. They are perfect for when I have very thin pieces that need foam in between the layers. In those cases, I have been very happy to have these dots. One problem with them is that they are so small that it's hard to remove them from the paper and foam they come on. I need to use pointed tweezers to grab them and place them. But all in all, I think I would recommend these foam dots to people that do a lot of paper crafting. I've been glad I had them on hand when working on several projects.

Perfect, very small
Used these to give some depth on these centerpieces. Didn't realize how small they were until they arrived (had to use a sewing needle to pull off the sheet), but they ended up being the perfect size for the thin swirled pieces of cardstock that I needed to be lifted.

Perfect for my craft projects!
I recently ordered these to use in making bridal shower decorations. They were perfect! A little challenging to remove from the sleeve; but once I used a sharp headed pair of craft tweezers to remove the top film and then used to remove the pads - it was a breeze. I will be using these in a number of craft projects to get that 3d look and take things to the next level! Would definitely order them again.

Brilliant
Wasn’t sure what to expect with these but they are brilliant stick well and are perfect for small cuts of card. These are the 0.12 dots. I used a sharp weeding tool to pick and apply. Will definitely buy again.

Tiny dots
These are really tiny sticky dots. I use a needle or pin to get them out of their backing. You also have to get the shiny protective dot off of the tiny dots too which is a bit fiddly. However, I've found these are very good if you don't want to put a larger sticky pad on the back of your decorations. I like them.

Very small
Was looking for larger but they will do

Too small and fiddly
These are tiny, much smaller than I imagined. However, even worse is the fact they are nearly impossible to peel off the pad, you have to pinch them with your nails which deforms them, making them useless
