I bought this for my grandsons 10 years ago. They loved it and it became their favorite toy. I was happy to see that the company still makes it, and it is the SAME GREAT QUALITY as the original. In fact, it's still the OG - They didn't change a thing, and why should they? You can't improve perfection. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Bought for our three year old friend who is obsessed with rocking out. He loved it!

Initially, I wanted this microphone because the colors work so well for a boy (I was a little nervous about not getting to choose, but have ordered two and received a blue one, both times). I wasn't too worried about the functions, only that it looks like a microphone. I knew that my two year old would run around the house with it, using his imagination, and would also be able to sing along with his favorite music shows. The button does need to be held down while recording, and the amplification is not the loudest (which is just fine with me). I pushed the buttons for him at first, then he figured it out and has so much fun! He encourages us to sing into it, too. The first one was misplaced - it went everywhere - so I had to rush order another. The strap is a handy feature. He can put it around his wrist, it can be hung up when not in use, or clipped to a purse or diaper bag. Even the packaging is adorable. We could not be happier with this microphone!

When I purchased, these were on back order. When I received it, It was very cheaply made. The battery compartment, was poorly assembled I could hardly get the batteries in connected to the contacts for the microphone to work. Once I was able to get the batteries working in the microphone, The volume of the microphone was so incredibly low. I could barely hear anything out of the speaker. The cap for the battery compartment was not on the threads properly when I received it and continued to be an issue when trying to get the batteries in. This was returned for money back. There are other microphones out there that would be of better quality.

I was looking for a play microphone for my 2-year-old. He received a toy as a gift some time ago that had a little microphone on it that worked and he loved it, however that mic was attached to the keyboard and he couldn't walk around with it. That toy also has other music that's pretty annoying, so I was just looking for a little microphone that he could use. This one plays toddler tunes when he pushes the button - a feature he likes but gets bored with quickly. Unfortunately the microphone itself doesn't work well. There is a very small place at the top of the mic that the child needs to speak directly into with their mouth on top of the toy in order for it to slightly work. So this didn't really do what I was looking for. The microphone itself is well-made and cute, the tunes are fun if your child is a bit younger and just wants to push the button...but unfortunately this is not a "real" or play microphone.

My toddler son is so happy that this mic is realistic. He loves to record his voice and play it back. I love that I can control how loud it is.

It’s a great toy, my granddaughter has one that was purchased at another retailer and loved it so much I decided to buy one for my grandson, and I was thrilled to find this one!The unit purchased elsewhere, the strap is exactly what you’d think it would be, and she can carry it like a guitar on her shoulder and act like a rock star, the unit purchased here in the photo is one I can barely get my hand through. The strap is absolutely worthless in my opinion. I wrote the seller thinking I could get a replacement strap and all they said was that there are two versions, 1 with the longer strap that I guess they aren’t connected with, and one that they sell here, the one pictured with an 8” strap. He’s 3, he’s not going to understand why he can’t use it like his sister uses hers.It’s still a great toy so I’m keeping it, I’ll just go ahead and splice it and add cord I purchased here for that purpose to give him the guitar he’s been wanting, the one he thought he’d be getting. Of course the cord is going to cost me another $12 so there’s that, but at least they won’t be fighting over the one with the better strap. Not a lot to pay for peace in the house, based on the sellers response I guess they’re all like that?
