Rubber Molded Magnetic License Plate Holder Magnets Set of 2 With Blue With Screws

I bought these because the screws rusted out on my license plate. I tried to take the screws off with an easy out but the screws broke instead. I was just going to use the magnet plate holder long enough to get the broken screws out of the old plate mount on my car. This product is so good, I'm just going to leave it on permanently. The plate doesn't look like it is being held with a magnet and it is being secured very tightly. This is a great solution to my problem. I love it!

We got this for hubby's classic vehicle. A lot of other folks mentioned that it won't hold on a freeway. We have a 1932 Ford Fire Truck and it does fine. Granted its never gone higher than 45-55 on the two lane highway and held on fine. It's rubber coated to not scratch the finish of the truck. It was easy to install and easy to slip off.I would recommend to a friend.

I've used these for months and months and have driven hundreds of miles, and my plate hasn't moved an inch. Perfect for my car that has the license plate bolts rusted off in their holes.

Magnet does what it should but I don't feel that it was very strong and could fall from a hard bump

My birthday is in January and I live in the snow belt. I had to replace my plates because they were rusted beyond recognition. Unfortunately both the bolts broke off the rear of my car and since the weather didn't permit drilling them out I bought the magnets to keep me legal. We're now into May with the magnets holding strong even during my daily commute. Absolutely no slip. I'm very impressed! I don't really want to drill the bolts out because my plates look nice the way they are but I suppose I should do so for safety reasons. I would recommend these to anyone who has the same problem I did.

Perfectly met my needs; both license plate bolts were siezed in my Lexus RX. Tried removing them and the heads twisted off. Yeah I know, most people would have stopped after the first one.So back to the review - the brackets here are vinyl coated and have extremely strong magnets. Gripped the metal on my rear hatch and hasn't budged in any driving conditions. I have even forgotten about the brackets and taken the thing through the car wash.

These magnets work wonderfully well but they are not intended to be a permanent solution. I bought them because my license plate fell off due to the screw heads rusting and breaking off. I though this could be a permanent solution to attach my license plate to my car. It securely holds my license plate in place but it falls off when I close my trunk and is no match for the automatic carwash. As a short term temporary solution to affix a license plate to a car this works very well. The plate has no issue staying in place while driving around the city. Even when I hit bumps, pot holes, and rough road the plate was held securely in place. If you buy this as a permanent solution to secure your license plate to the rear of your vehicle you will be disappointed. This also will not attach to the front bumper as there is no metal in the front bumper.

Both magnets were extremely strong and my plate fit perfectly in the pre installed holes. Unfortunately, I couldn’t use them for the intended purpose as a front license plate holder since my front bumper wasn’t made of metal. I should’ve checked before purchasing, but I was able to return them which was an easy process. I received credit as soon as I dropped them off at UPS. Would definitely purchase again if I find a use for them.
