The design on these chargers is quite attractive as you can see....a grape vine. There is not much of a copper color if that is what you are after. They are really a dark brown without enough highlighting to make them interesting. Therefore, the grape vine design is not as noticeable. They really should have added more copper color. The good and the bad about the chargers being metal is that a spill cleans off easily, but a dinner plate slides around if it is not large enough to go to the edge of the charger. The other problem with metal is it has a harsh sound against the table if you do not have either a tablecloth or a place mat under the charger. There is no felt under these. All of the above is something to ponder before you buy.

These are quite nice! Just opened them up. Larger than I expected, definitely make a statement. Hoping they will look nice with my patterned china....would be gorgeous with solids. I'm planning to use them on a woods-y themed Thanksgiving table.
