We ordered this size/shape to fit a very specific location. It's under a small counter surface where there's plenty of room to get to it. It's also an ego boost because it's got a wide enough opening that it's easy to make the three point shot :)

This bins work wonderfully to recycle but the price has increase 100% in the past few years. ridiculous. I don't know how anyone can afford to purchase many of them.

The bin itself was fine. It's the condition in which I received it that was not ok. This BRAND NEW recycle bin was absolutely disgusting and filthy when I pulled it out of the box this morning. It looks like it sat outside in a storage yard for months and no one thought to wipe it down before putting it in the box. There was actually a pile of dust collected in the bottom of the bin. Completely unacceptable for something I spent $132 on.

This container is ENORMOUS and really shot our whole "save through recycling" goal in the foot. It is so large that it can't be shipped in a box and so arrives looking like we've had it for a long time. Be sure to check the measurements provided and note that the item is the container only - lids must be purchased separately. KUDOS TO AMAZON FOR STATING BOTH CAUTIONS!! With the lid, the container would cost over $200 - YEEOW!
