The burr attachment has a red plastic around the base which makes it unable to fit inside the reamer. Am I supposed to remove it first somehow?

My wife bought the bead reamer as well and opens the front end and insert the rounder. She does not remove the red part.

Could I use this in a dremel drill?

It doesn’t fit mine.. but you can use it in a drill.
