Cheaper than new dishwasher!
Overall good value. The dishwasher is older than 10 years. Factory hose vibration and rubbing against wall caused it to crack.Water weeped down hose into base triggering a code. Do you have to fully remove the dishwasher and take all the panels off the sides. You need to get at the back of the dishwasher as well. If you have time, space and tools this is not a hard job. Look for some repair videos online take your time. Its cheaper than a new dishwasher.

Requires effort to fit airgap.
The house comes with 7/8th fitting, which can be used to directly connect to the in-sink disposal. However, the airgap has a smaller size.I had to make a collar from the old hose and shave it off a bit, because the local Home Depot did not have an adapter.Shipping the hose with an adapter would've been much nicer.

Perfect Drain Hose
I've never met a dishwasher drain hose that drained as well as this one except for the last drain hose I replaced with this one with. This hose drains every last bit of water that goes through it. Its sleek cylindrical design allows water to go right to the drainpipe with no delay. Amazon's shipping was as fast as a fiber-optic internet connection.
