Parker’s Handmade Latigo Leather Straight Razor Strop for Sharpening Straight Razors & Knives – Made in USA – 3” x 27” (Black)

I used this strop on my personal razor and it took my razor's performance to a whole greater level.

This strop is as advertised. Great quality from the leather to the buckle, the size is perfect, and the weight is well balanced. I also like the synthetic material for the secondary strop, and it is working great.However, the major standout for this product is the seller. Super Safety Razor goes above and beyond to ensure that you are completely satisfied with their product. For example, I received this strop, and there were some flaws (wrinkles, a cut in the buckle). I explained as much in the feedback, and was contacted back within the hour by Super Saferty Razor. They explained that this was not OK, and that I should expect a replacement in the mail by the end of the week, with a return slip for the defective strop. Everything worked out great, and they have a very happy customer.

The strop over all seems great, I've used it almost every other day and both the leather and nylon straps give an outstanding edge to my blade. The clip is easier to use than other strops I've owned in the past. The latch can be manipulated easily with one hand. The Only con I had with the strop would have to do with the handle holding the nylon strip; it has too much of a space holding the ends and doesn't feel as secure as it should.

The strop is very well made, and in black and polished silver, is a beautiful addition to my wet shave setup. I haven't had need to exchange any parts, and given the quality of materials, probably won't for some time. But, the whole thing can be easily disassembled for replacement of any part with a flat-head screwdriver. Value, function, and beauty are all top-notch.It seems that there was a mistake on the part of Amazon, and I was initially shipped a previously returned item. Howie from the Parker distributor, Super Safety Razors, went above and beyond, reaching out and working with me directly to ensure that I received the item as intended. Mistakes happen sometimes, but Howie made up the difference with his care for the customer.Top notches for the strop AND Super Safety Razors.

The strop arrived in great condition. Although I'm new to using a straight razor the difference between this 3"strop and the 2" strop I was using was immediately apparent. This strop provided the ability to use a straight stroke where I had to use a "windshield wiper" stroke with the narrower strop. The 2" strop was of high quality and eventually gave a good result. I just kept nicking the narrower strop and it took much longer to get the whole edge sharp. The 3" strop gives a much better result much quicker, for me at least.

I wanted to like this strop. The first time I received one it had a large wrinkle in the middle of the strop and the second one (pictures I took) had bumps along the edge and wrinkles in the leather. This would damage my straight razor. So two times no luck. Now they're out of stock so I'll be looking for a different brand. Goodluck!

Good quality leather, good quality woven polypropylene and heavy duty clips and rings. The width is what makes this great for my straight razor. No more X patterns for me, just straight stropping.

Very well made. It is my favourite of the three strops that I own and is twice as nice as the comparably priced Dovo.

I have to say that it is very well constructed but materials are not good.Leather strop side was damaged, with blemishes and dents. Fabric strop it is not canvas as advertised but synthetic webbing. Very disappointed. Putting it back in the box for return right away!Hope pictures show all the flaws.It’s sad since I was very excited about it.
