Amazing Cooling
This thing is amazing! I just built a new PC, and the secondary nvme drive was behind the motherboard with no heatsink. Did a bit of testing and my temps were around 50C idle and 85C under load (crystal diskmark). After applying this heatsink it dropped nearly 35C, with idle temps of 36C and a max of 51C under load! I was expecting an improvement, but this far exceeded my expectations!Love the build quality too, has a heatsink and everything is made of metal. The install process is super easy, just peal the thermal pad covers, put in your drive, attached four screws and you're good to go! It does cool double sided nvme's and it fit in the back part of my nr200p max without issue. Note, the heatsink is a bit tall, so I don't expect this fitting in a laptop or ps5.

Looking for Playstation PS5 upgrade? Buy this!
I installed this with a WD Black 1TB M.2 SSD in a Playstation 5. It fits perfectly, and you can leave the metal slot cover off entirely (the original cover for the PS5's SSD slot). It's unnecessary and actually cools another 5 degrees cooler without the slot cover! 😎Installation was a snap, with the Pro cooler having both a hefty top heatsink with copper tube core, and an aluminum backplate. The backplate and hestsink both have thermally conductive pads preinstalled, all you need to do is remove the protective paper cover from each pad.The backplate is secured to the heatsink using 4 included screws and an included micro screwdriver.Whole process takes just 5 minutes!

low profile and does really well for its size.
so, if what you need is to cool off an NVME directly under a video card, the best you can do will be a heat spreader that comes with the motherboard. but lets say your motherboard doesn't have a heat spreader for that slot because its not an expensive board. so if you are me, you get a vertical gpu bracket to give some more room there, but the riser cable is stiff and presses up on the taller nvme heatsinks so you need something low profile but still cools relatively well. well then you buy this guy. its not the coolest heatsink you will find, but its only 2C hotter than a zero M15 from id-cooling. I'd say if what you want is something a little less obvious / flashy then this is the heatsink to get. and it claims to fit 1 and 2 sided nvme sticks. not bad!

Looks Good, Works Good
Got this for my 4TB WD_Black and yeah, it’s pretty great. Is it necessary? Not really if you’re not on your computer as much. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

Classic BeQuiet! Build Quality!!
Astounding build quality! came soooo thoughtfully packaged! the little screwdriver was perfect and spun with a certain amount of torque so it wouldn't strip. The thermal padding was thick on both sides, putting it together over the m.2 was so intuitive I didn't need to read the directions. BeQuiet is just the best!

Decent heatsink, too big for mini pc
I bought this for a mini PC but it was just slightly too tall to fit. It worked well, but I just couldn't insert or remove it without disassembling the entire case, even though the case has a pop off top. But in testing, it didn't perform any better than a cheaper (non-heatpipe) low profile heatsink I had been using previously. Also, it seemed like it held the heat longer after the heavy writing load was stopped. I think in a case with more room and airflow this would be a decent heatsink.

Nice Bit of Gear
Sits snugly under my graphics card - and I mean SNUGLY. Buyers beware that this cooler does have some thickness due to the heat pipes and may not fit all applications - the MC1 version doesn't have the pipes and is quite a bit shorter.Keeps the drive (970 EVO Plus) around 5 to 10c cooler but would likely be better with more airflow - situated as it is practically under my GPU airflow is limited. Has enough mass to where "normal" use won't cause any thermal issues, but if I were to do a lot of 500GB writes to the drive I'd feel better with more airflow around it - it does a fine job for what it is - but it IS a passive heatsink with limited airflow. It's in the WORST spot on my board and it's doing as well as can be expected - it's quality, but not able to violate thermal dynamics.Packaged very well, included a magnetized screwdriver. None of the 4 screws ever got "tight" - maybe by design (didn't look at the TINY screws to check). Used a little blue locktite on the screws just in case - likely not needed but better to be sure.DO NOT remove the "sticker" on your NVME unless you know FOR FACT that it is just paper. Removing it may void your warranty and, if it's a Samsung, that "sticker" is actually a heat spreader itself. Also - on a Samsung - if removed, yes, bubye warranty. Testing also confirms that, at least with Samsung, performance is better with it than without it. So again, only remove if you KNOW it's just paper - my understanding is that's pretty rare on quality drives. So, tl;dr - it works. Everything you need and made well. If you're in a situation where the heatsink will have some airflow along the fins I'm confident it will work well.

Easy to install heatsink that does what it needs to do
Had a m.2 drive in my computer that was throwing warning messages about it getting too warm in use and this resolved the issue and looks great doing it. Have been a fan of BeQuiet's products for some time and this is no different. Top tier build quality, easy installation, and does it's job. It even comes with a small screwdriver in the kit so no tools are needed other than what's needed to open the pc case. Will warn that the four screws that hold the two halves together are tiny and easy to drop so be careful.
