I like the way the author suggested which finger would be best to use

A perfect one for adult beginners
The Downloadable Audio and the finger placements (numbers) in problem areas are so helpful for the beginners. I agree that if you are just starting out at the piano and want to play easy songs that sound sophisticated, then this is really the perfect book for you. But the premise is that you must know how to read sheet music.

Great for beginners
This book is amazing for beginners. Our daughter has been teaching herself to play and this book had worked very well for her. She loves that it is not too complicated but also adds in base cleft chords.

Nice selection of songs.
Very helpful book for getting back to the basics. The sound tracks on the computer are very helpful. I really like the book.

Enjoyable
A nice collection of simplified piano pieces. Many are familiar tunes. Others add the challenge of learning the tune and the notes at the same time. The arrangements are thoughtfully done minimizing sharps and flats in the key signature. It would be helpful if a listing of the included songs was available in the Amazon write-up.

Great Beginner Piano Music
A knowledge of sheet music is absolutely required for this. If you have that knowledge, this is a great tool for learning the piano. It shows finger placement for playing the music, something I have struggled with in learning the piano and starts out with simple songs. I wish I would have found this years ago instead of struggling with "free" piano music on the internet.

Músicas facilitadas para piano em versões de grandes clássicos
Da variedade de autores e temas. Sem grandes dificuldades mas também não fáceis demais, atendeu as minhas expectativas plenamente . Adorei as gravações para ouvir pois são de fácil acesso.

Excellent book for beginners and beyond - great selection of songs and easy to follow
I hadn't played piano for a long time and was quite daunted trying to learn again, however Primo Piano is the perfect book for those keen to learn. The songs start out easy (Happy Birthday) but get harder as you go, helping you become a better piano/keyboard player. By the end you'll be confident tackling The Swan and The Nutcracker. In between there are some timeless tunes that I love to play like Fur Elise and Scarborough Fair.55 tunes to learn in a big book that's sized just right to sit on a sheet stand - A4 size sheets mean you're not squinting as you learn to play the songs. The book is beautifully presented with a glossy cover - well worth the asking price. This book is for all ages and skill levels and it's one you'll keep coming back to. With such a great range of tunes to learn, I don't think I need to buy another book for a long, long time. Highly recommended.Downloadable audio is a nice touch as well - you can ensure you're getting it right by comparing your attempt to what it should sound like. A great touch that is like having a teacher alongside you.

Great piano book for beginners
This book has a great collection of piano pieces perfect for beginners. All the songs are well known songs that are both classical and folk style. The songs start from easy and progress to harder pieces through the book. As a beginner the finger numbers on the music are very helpful. The free audio downloads are a great addition to be able to hear how the songs should sound. Definitely recommend this book and I’m looking forward to progressing my way through the songs.

Brilliant for beginners
I have started to teach myself how to play the piano (at the ripe old age of 66!) and wanted a book that just had songs in (without any teaching) and this is perfect! It starts with easy songs and then gradually gets harder as you grow in your ability. Good selection of songs and I’m really happy with it so far. The other great thing is you can download the songs and listen to them to help you if you’re unfamiliar with a song and to make sure you’re playing them correctly. Thank you!

OK BUT!
This is well written with great progression but beware! There is no guidance for the raw beginner. You are expected to know the notes on both the treble and bass clefs, the length of notes and all other basics you need to get started. So although this book has good content, be aware that you need some basic theory before attempting even the first piece.
