Great charger! Charged at higher rate then my old charger. Price was reasonable too.

The alternator in my truck took a dump the same day this charger arrived! Talk about perfect timing! The charger is literally a life saver! The repair mode is something I'll try on lawnmower batteries! So far, no problems!

Worked better than I expected, fully charged my lithium battery within and hour.

I was surprised that such a small lightweight charger could do so well. The price was great too!

I got this 12VDC battery charger along with five other different 12VDC battery chargers to compare them in everyday real situations. They all had similar specs & were all w/in the same price range. They were used on an almost daily basis to charge the six deep cycle PbSO4 batteries for my house electrical backup system as well as the six deep cycle PbSO4 batteries in my NEV/LSV. At the end of a year, this charger (along with the other five chargers) was still functioning nominally, which makes it a great purchase at a nominal price. And so, I recommend this 12VDC PbSO4 battery charger

It repaired a red top expensive gel cell battery that cost upwards of 300 dollars and it wouldn't hold a charge to save its life after using this on it , 10 hours of repair mode and regular charge mode that red top gel gell is holding a charge and working again , very impressed , also it on a dieing deep cell for a 5000lb Maxon liftgate battery and it brought jt back to life as well, and a set of twin deep cell batteries which 1 js new the other is year old and brought both those up to a perfect topped off charge 😀 👍 yeah I'm impressed and I'm not easily impressed but this charger does what it says it does , just make sure you have proper acid levels in the battery your going to fix first , and it if not to far sulfated it should do the job 😀.

I bought this for my husband and he likes it very much. He uses it often and he said it charges fast. It is lightweight and durable. Would recommend this product.

As soon as I get a minute, I'm sending it back!!!!"Smart Charger" my a$$! I chose this unit because it would CONSTANTLY charge a battery in use (being discharged) AND maintain a battery (variable charging at different amperage rates) once fully charged even if it was In Use.Not So. I have a 12V RV fridge in my trailer AND the entire RV 110v to 12v conversion system. I intentionally removed the fridge from the RV unit so to get a real test of this charger. My fridge runs off the battery, the battery is not connected to the system OR any other 12v appliance (lights, radio, etc) JUST THE FRIDGE. I attached the charger to a FULLY charged NEW battery and turned on the fridge. Chose the correct setting on the charger and after some confusing ID on the LED (it read "dFT" this isnt even IN the user guide!) it started functioning. I came back to check on its progress 15 hrs later and it was "OFF" on the LED but the fridge was still running (it will run 24hrs on a fully charged battery) with a voltage of 11.8V. I removed the positive lead from the battery, waited, then reattached and the charger went through a process and started charging again.I came back 2 days later and the Battery was dead, the charger read "OFF" and the fridge had defrosted!I regularly use a DieHard 2/10/60 amp car charger for this set-up but its as big as a lunchbox! I bought this for its compact size knowing that a 10A rate with overcharge protection was more than enough to keep ahead of the discharge of the running fridge.Not this unit. its POS if you ask me but you get what you get from China. I should have known better!!!!!!If you want to charge a battery and keep watching it, go ahead and buy this unit. Otherwise, stay away.
