Do these disintegrate in the sun over time like most plastic clothespins?

No, these are very durable. They are nothing like cheap plastic clothespins. They are amazing. If in doubt risk one pack. I bet you will be back for more

They 3,1/2 inches long and very sturdy. We live on a hill that gets very windy and they hold everything I hang on the line securely, even the heavy denim blankets I made. So worth the money. I bought 3 packages. They are very well made from heavy plastic with a heavier metal connection piece than other cloths pins. This is the only type of cloths pins I will ever purchase for my laundry from now on. You won't be disappointed.

I'm looking for "clips" that will fit over plastic clothes hangers 1/4 to 5/8 to hang laminated chart& still supply "grip?" m.

During off seasons I use racks in my basement to hang clothes. These will clip pants to the rack no problem. My shirts I hang over the rungs, so I don't get clip marks. That being said I do think it would work for what you want.
