As frequent as needed to prevent dryness. Rub small amount on finger tips and work into the hair shaft and ends of hair. Three times a week max for me, to avoid build up of oils.

Not a liquid but a jelly

The word ‘oil’ along with the twist nozzle lead me to believe this was in liquid form. I do not recommend this product for dread or braided styles bc you cannot squeeze onto your scalp.This product is a jelly formula. But baybee!!! Once you rub it in your hands, it immediately turns into oil! It’s not sticky or thick. It becomes the oil consistency you would expect.It also smells AMAZING!I ended up adding some of this product to another oil of mine bc I needed it to oil my scalp. I shook it up and it blended smoothly with no problem. With that being said, this product should last me a good while.
