Good for Christmas makes
I have used cheap metallic thread, which my sewing machine did not like and so this Madeira thread was recommended. I had no problems at all and it produced excellent results. I use it for the top thread in my machine, with normal thread in the bobbin.

Good
As long as you use a needle for metallic thread it’s ok. I used it for quilting and used regular needle but it knotted at first but changed to special one and was ok after.
