Wait! Do you really need an extender?
You should really ask yourself if you really need an extender. If you do not require face masks with a tight “seal” then I suggest searching for cloth face masks with ear loop adjusters instead. The reason why you may be considering extenders is that your ears are now so sore from the ear loops bending them into “Dumbo” or making you look like a Scottish fold (shout out to cat breeds!). Frankly, I think extenders from dollar stores is all one would need. It’s not like there are brand name extenders to brag about with those friends you are socially isolating from. The problem with them may be how you wear your extender. I admit, I used to wear mine behind the head. Wrong! The extender would simply slide down your head and fall loosely behind your neck and increase the weight of the loops sitting on your sore ears. The goal for the extender is to “change the angle of the ear loops so they do not impact your ears.” I learned this from my sister who was deployed to a hospital to help with COVID testing. Her and her new colleagues all wear their extenders on the TOP of their heads. After doing the same for 2 weeks, I am so thankful for their advice. If you must purchase an extender, I see no reason why you shouldn’t consider these Velcro versions. They hold each loops securely so that it’s not a fight to get onto your head. Far more adjustable since it can literally be adjusted infinitely. And it’s 12in x 1in which means that it is actually long enough to extend around your head. I find them very comfortable when using with disposable KN95 masks. FYI, I wear masks for 10+hrs per shift.Lastly, hopefully within a year, this pandemic will end and the requirements for masks will be reduced. Needs for extenders will as well. The millions and millions of extenders available on this site will find itself at your nearest landfill making you wonder if disposable straws were really a priority. These Velcro extenders will still be in your possession cause... they’re VELCRO! They have millions of uses. The only constraint being your imagination.Consume smartly.

Finally my N95 mask fits my face snugly
This is what I've needed to make my N95 fit my face snugly. My face is small and even a small adult size mask left gaps in a few places. My glasses fogged even though I tried knotting the ear elastics and pinching the nose wire. But using this strap helped make a tight seal and my glasses don't fog. I still can't quite figure out whether I should be wearing this high on my head or lower but either works. It does mess up my hair quite a bit trying to get it to sit just right but a tight seal is more important to me than a good hair day.

Not what I expected
After a lot of research, I bought these to ease the strain on my ears when wearing a tight-fitting mask. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay on the back of the head and slides down to the neck, causing the top of the mask to apply an uncomfortable level of pressure on the nose.
