Schlage is the only brand that I’ll purchase. The name brand is known for its great quality and value. It was easy to install. The appearance fits well with the interior of my Colonial home. The door knob is comfortable to handle and its scratch resistant. I highly recommend this product!

Nice replacement knob
Schlage seems to be high quality. This was a replacment for a Schlage knob that lasted 20 years.

Easy to Install and Looks Good
I easily installed this knob on many of the doors inside the house we recently bought. Schlage also offers a matching lockable version of this knob.

Not your grandfather's Schlage
Except when specified or requested by a client I've used Schlage Plymouth bedroom and closet lock sets exclusively in residential construction since the late 70's and the new lock sets are noticeably lighter in weight and the springs aren't as strong. Even though they look the same when installed only time will tell if they're still working as well and looking as good as their predecessors of even 20 years ago. Yep, this isn't your grandfather's Schlage but that can be said about almost everything today. For that matter my 20 something grandson tells his son that about stuff he bought when "he was a kid".

Nice quality. Easy to install.
Very nice quality. Operation seems smooth and reliable. Good instructions. Easy to install...but you'll need a little finesse to line up the two chassis screws. Be patient, go slow.

So simple to install. Instructions are easy to understand.
I installed this passage set on a door that already had been drilled to receive this passage set. simply insert the latch assembly into the hole on the side of the door, and secure with two screws. Insert on side of the knob into the hole of the face of the door, then insert the second side and make sure you have aligned the screw holes with the threaded openings on the first half. Insert two screw and tighten, and the knob is ready. Then install the strike plate at the door jamb with two screws and you are all done. Fair price, easy to install.
