I bought two of these umbrellas; one with white trim and one with black trim. The advantage over other fabric, is that you can simply wipe it dry and not have to wait for it to dry and, you can see where you're going so it's safer for crossing streets. The disadvantage is that it's bulkier than other fabric and doesn't roll up small for stowing in a purse or carryon as well as the fabric umbrellas.

Broke on the first 20 min of use

It works ok but for the price I expected a little bit better quality

I loved having this around but it broke after using it for 2 weeks.

Needed quick for a trip and came in handy

Got this umbrella because it was clear, and as you all know, umbrellas are quite fragile. This umbrella is a bit squeaky the first few uses, but other than that, this is a must in fashion (in case you like to see rain over your head, not get wet, and just look fabulous), and if you just like umbrellas.

Rusted after one use and looks awful. The mechanism inside that keeps it open cuts your hands up. You get what you pay for.
