Size 4 is recommended by customers for temporarily banding adult quail. Best to you and your flock!

Thank you for the inquiry. The chick bands are temporary bands and not suggested for a permanent solution. The size for temp banding would depend on the breed of your chickens. Please, let me know and I can suggest a size.

Thank you for the inquiry. XL will slip off. You will find that there is a longer period of growth between the L and XL. The first size goes really fast!

5/16" large - might be a little big for a couple more weeks.
