Impressive sound without breaking the bank.
The Polk Audio Signa S4 offers excellent value for its price point, delivering decent sound quality that elevates the home viewing experience. While the subwoofer may not satisfy those seeking intense bass, the system as a whole is a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their audio setup without breaking the bank.I'm a big fan of the different preset modes you can choose from on the controller, allows you to quickly adjust settings based on what you're currently listening to. The sub seems like wasted opportunity and no I don't even see a point using it, hence the 4 stars.

Very impressed and happy
I have Polk speakers on my main AV system in my main liiving room, and these are driven my a Denon amp. I'm very happy with this setup, but I needed something less expensive for my second living area. I was torn between the Polk Signa S4 and the Denon DHT-S517, which are similar in many ways. I went for the Polk because some reviews mentioned the Denon didn't perform as well for bass or music, and the remote isn't (perhaps) quite as good. I wish I could have tried them side by side because I quite liked the look of the Denon, and as I said, I like my AV amp a lot. I am totally happy with the Polk Signa S4 though, I can not image the Denon could be better. I have this in a large room that is open on one side. It fills the room with clear dialog, crisp music or fantastic sound effects. In fact the whole house can hear it to some extent! I'll likely use this room more now than I did before. Critisisms? I wish there was a second HDMI input. I wish the remote was a little more premium. These are minor issues to me though. If I run into issues I promise to come back and edit this review, otherwise, I'm still happy.

Fantastic upgrade and brilliant for the price
Never heard of Polk before until I started looking for a new soundbar to match the new TV we bought. Since then I've seen a few reviews about their other soundbars punching above their weight for the price and then heard about this being released, a new Dolby Atmos soundbar for a great price. While there was little to no reviews, I decided to pick one up as an upgrade to my LG SN4 2.1 soundbar which I will be comparing it to. Lots of great features Inc HDMI 2.1, E-ARC, voice boost & plug and play. So far watched some Dolby experience videos and a few movies in Dolby Vision and Atmos and so far the sound is very impressive. Much deeper bass than my previous one and sounds are much richer with the voice boost really enhancing voice volume against action scenes etc. I can't say that I can hear planes or helicopters flying overhead exactly, but the surround sound felt much more comprehensive and fuller than my previous soundbar. My wife said it sounds like being in the cinema and for a £330 soundbar with Atmos and upfiring speakers is high praise. so far the only let down is a very short pause in audio (under 1 second) when resuming after pausing but that could easily be due to the TV rather than soundbar and my previous one had a led screen to show you volume and output etc whereas this one does not. Still I'm very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend for the price. While its the 1st Atmos soundbar I've owned, I still suspect I would have to pay at least double for any significant improvement and for a proper Atmos soundbar with upfiring speakers this feels like great value for the money.

Good sound but buttons not in ideal location
Sound quality is good but doesn’t really give a surround experience. However the buttons are located on the top not the front. So if underneath tv with no gap. Then you can’t swap to Bluetooth or turn it back on if it turns off after not being used for a while. The only solution is to leave a gap. An app with connectivity would have got around this. But it doesn’t support it. Mounting wise is via keyhole (nail/screw) mounting at the rear. Which limits mounting options. Especially as the is no channel paths for the cables and the supplied cables stick out to far at the rear, meaning you have to use the spacers and it then doesn’t sit as flush to the wall. Layout and design features aside. It makes a big difference in sound quality from my LG tv.

Amazing!!
The media could not be loaded. So guys, this Soundbar It worth the money 100!! I bought it "used like new" and honestly, there is no any difference between the new one and this. I can't see any scratches, dents...nothing on him. Same warranty like a brand new. Only the package wasn't in good condition but from this point of view, don't care :)So, the sound is very nice and worm, nice strong and deep bass and different preseted modes of how you want to listen: Movies, Music or.. Night mode :)Soo good quality of the materials, very premium I could say.I would recommend 100%, very satisfied about my new acquisition! :)

Reasonable for the price
Had been looking for a soundbar and wireless sub for a while as the internal speakers on an OLED aren't great. Happened upon the Polk system for a good price so worth a try. I had been looking at the Sonos Beam which is a bit chunkier and settled for the Polk as it looked a little more slimline. Looks-wise it's unobtrusive and the wireless sub doesn't make itself stand out. I didn't have an Atmos system to compare to but the few films I have watched with it so far have been nice and clear with good bass. The Bluetooth for music does ok, it does seem a bit tinny and confined at lower volumes but when cranked up a bit it opens up a lot more and is a bit more balanced though need to tweak the bass a bit for music. Depending on the type of music you're into it may be a bit lacking as a Bluetooth speaker, my homepod mini performs better with most of the music I like, rock/metal
