Lights keak and fail after a few years
Installed these on our wake surf boat. After 2 yrs of light use, half the lights have water inside them and some of the led’s are going out. Obviously some are leaking.

Good value for the money, Install them carefully.
The media could not be loaded. Overall, these seem like a good value for the money. The body is solid molded polycarbonate, with a stainless steel shell. It does not have a stainless steel base.Some installation tips:Use ONLY 3M 5200 marine adhesive sealant. Best stuff on the market. 7 day total cure time.Apply the sealant liberally around the wire at the back of the light to seal the wire entry point into the back of the light. (some reviews complain of water intrusion at this point)Mount only on a flat surface.Be sure to use the included rubber gasket, and apply sealant to both sides of the gasket.Be sure to use the 3M 5200 in the screw holes, and just before pushing the last of the wire thru the hull, apply a liberal amount of sealant around the wire and hole.Tighten the screws just until they stop turning. do not "snug them up" The adhesive sealant will prevent the lights from moving or the screws coming out.Be sure to give the sealant the full 7 day cure time to prevent any leaking.

Great when they work, need to seal it up
When they work, they are great. But they are NOT waterproof out of the package. You will need to use good sealant and seal the back up before installing. I found this out the hard way. They are very bright and the chrome cover is nice as well. Just wish they put a little more effort into sealing them up. Product was exchanged out so I can't complain too much
