I have long desired to own a cane like the one used by Jonathan Frid in his Dark Shadows role of Barnabas Collins. There are other handmade canes (very fine, I'm sure) but they are way out of my price range, and I would probably not want to use them for fear of marring their finish. This one was affordable, and turns out to be eminently sturdy and useable, as well as attractively and carefully made. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Wanted Barnabas like cane and this one is perfect for that. It comes in 3 parts to screw together. But it is solid, not at all flimsy and worth the price.

The media could not be loaded.  Everything about it is perfect, except one thing.. The top screw part where you're supposed to put the wolf handle isn't actually a screw. Confusing, no? It's a bunch of separate ridges instead of one continuously looping ridge, making it literally unable to screw on the handle and also making it not an actual screw.Edit: My dad was able to fix it, so now it's all perfectly together, and it's gorgeous and sturdy. But if I didn't have a handy-dandy father, I would not have been able to use the cane.

A few recent reviews here from disappointed customers made me think that the item doesn't look like the picture and is poor quality. For that reason, I hesitated to order it, and almost didn't. But there were so many good reviews - I decided to take a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it look exactly like Barnabas's cane, it seems to be pretty sturdy as well. It looks like the photo and is exactly what I wanted. Quick delivery, and I am a satisfied customer. Good product!
