easy to use
These are very sturdy. Did not come apart even when my hands were wet and filling with tea, they stayed in tact. They stay closed once tighten string, the paper does not leach in tea as extra flavor, all the natural expectation of purchase is reached. This is great purchase. Worth the money and don't tear in your cup.

Great do-it-yourself loose leaf tea bags
These are just a little bit bigger than I would prefer, but that isn't really that big of a deal, as they still fit nicely within my mugs. Since my office stopped supplying us with a selection of tea choices a couple of months back, I've been looking for a good way to have a good selection of high quality tea blends at a reasonable price.I had already found some nice loose leaf tea selections that I liked, but the metal tea strainer that I had wouldn't do a good job of preventing tea particles from leaking out. This product provided me with a great solution, and as an added bonus, I can vary the amount of tea placed in the bag, to change the strength of whatever flavor I choose for the day.I've never had an issue with loose bits getting out and the bags are nicely disposable so I don't worry about waste when tossing them away after use. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and will be buying it again when the time comes.

Perfect for single cup coffee
These are perfect for single cups of coffee. I hate coffee from kcups, even reusable ones. These let me steep coffee as long as I like for the perfect strength. They hold up really well too, even when I've forgotten and they're in a cup for an hour lol. I suggest keeping them in their own cannister, they are really thin and it's easy to grab too many for the plastic sleeve and difficult to put them back in.

The tea bags work great. I purchased these so I could brew regular tea in the microwave. Normally, you can't use regular tea bags because they have metal staples. I wanted a way to use the tea without the stapled bags. After snipping off the staple, I was able to stuff two family size tea bags into one of these filter bags (one family size tea bag is equal to about 4 single serving tea bags). I initially left the tea in the original bag and inserted it, bag and all, in the filter bag because I thought the draw string might not close tight enough to keep the loose tea in. However, the drawstring did close tightly (I tied a knot just in case) and I was able to use loose tea. With the loose tea, I was able to fit 3 family size bags in it, which is the exact amount I need to brew 2 quarts of iced tea. These filter bags are a godsend to people like me who want the convenience and speed of microwaving and the economy of store bought tea bags.

They Are the Best Option for Loose Tea
Many tea aficionados insist that good tea only comes with brewing loose tea. I don't agree with this at all, despite the fact that my family has a long tradition of drinking tea, and we always brewed it from loose leaves. However, times have changed, and excellent teas are marketed in tea bags. You can recover the old days and fuse them with our times by using these tea bags. They are pretty big, so you can mix teas in them, use them in a pot, or make just a cup. I use them almost every day with various high quality loose leaf teas that I have purchased. They work excellently. I recommend them highly for everyone who loves tea on a daily basis.

Tastes like paper
Makes the tea taste like paper, and the bag is so tightly woven that the tea doesn’t infuse out into the water.
