This review is an informative and positive ramble :)
I bought this stereo as a replacement for a previous aftermarket stereo, as I felt the old one didn’t quite fit the car right aesthetically after I spotted this one. As far as I know it’s either made by the same company or in the same factory, but that doesn’t matter to me cause it still performs great.I have my stereo linked up with everything, including the subwoofer in the boot, and being able to change the bass on the fly makes it really handy for choosing whether I want just a relaxing bit of drill or a pumped up playlist of drum and bass. (Yes, I’m a stereotypical 18 year old)I’ve got it linked up to my phone’s Bluetooth so I can use a banging stereo for me tunes. Good ol’ James May.It’s really simple to set up and use, but if you’re replacing your factory stereo you’ll need to use a wiring harness kit to get it to connect, but that’s a fiver on most websites or in stores. Or, you can do it yourself and connect the factory cables, but that’s not recommended if you intend on selling your car with the factory head unit.Bluetooth paired simply. Opened up settings on my phone, went into pairing, and clicked on CAR BT. Simple, connected, done. Clicked mode twice to get from radio to bt, and I’m all set.Controls are simple. Everything’s labelled except settings, but one click of the volume knob and you’re in. Click repeatedly to scroll through, you’ll get a load of options. Bass, treble, balance, fade, “EOOF” (the built in equaliser), loud mode, time set, and your colour options. I either keep mine on red or green depending on whether I want it to match the aftermarket aesthetic (red shift knob, red vinyls, and other red accents), or the stock lighting (all buttons, lights, and dials are green). But, to be honest, there’s a colour there to match whatever you want. Or you could be a complete psychopath and leave it on auto…After testing it for a day, I really liked it. I found it was simple and intuitive to use, but it’ll still take a while to get used to button placement but that’s fine by me, took me ages to get used to my old stereo. The buttons seem relatively sturdy, and the clock isn’t too bright at night, not distracting at all, and was actually dimmer than the clock on my old stereo.I think it’s great, especially for only £33. It seems to be a really good bit of kit. I also appreciate the fact it has more features than many low-end alpine, kenwood, and pioneer stereos, which will have a single colour, no Bluetooth, and weird chrome styling, all for £70-80…This is worth the money, I’d get it if I were you :)

Great for the price but..
Sound ok for the money. Light is a bit bright after dark. Buttons a bit sticky and unresponsive.

Great; sound, quality & price
Easy to install if it’s iso wiring but can suggest getting an iso extension as unit is short. I’m very impressed with the sound quality and ease of operation. It’s almost like I’m missing something as it can’t be this easy. Blends in well with car dash which due to its simple design, as a single DIN, would loom good in most vehicles. Bluetooth automatically connects and works well with my car play screen on FM. I’m very happy.

Failed already
Audio quality was not very good from the start anyway but now it’s two months in it has just lost the Bluetooth capability and will only play out of one side on usb, get what you pay for I suppose

Impressive
I bought another car for work and the standard stereo head unit was as basic as things get, it wouldn't even hold signal with the standard aerial on the car. This unit solved that little issue. This unit is firstly very VERY cheap (cost) for what it does, it has bluetooth built in which takes away the need for a plug in device.I personally use amazon music a lot and have multiple devices that use this so didn't have the need for a CD drive. This unit is very easy to install (with the correct wiring harness for your vehicle) and does exactly what it should, the fact it looks dated is actually a good thing because in an older car why would you want a expensive head unit on show for all to steal. If you want cheap, functional and easy to use then I'd recommend this unit.If you want all singing all dancing mad volume and a CD player this is not your choice.

Fantastic Stereo
Fitted this radio in a Toyota Gen 3 4 Runner, the standard radio loom connectors fit straight into the back of the head unit, powered up, easy to connect to phone, great sound and full music and call capability through speakers.I removed the outer plastic front trim to install on my application but depends on what car your putting it in, I also removed the outer mounting tray, each car may need a different instillation approach but function and sound for cost is utterly superb!

OK, but Bluetooth mic seems poor.
Bought to replace a failing unit in a 1980's car.Pros:- Cheap- Doesn't look bad in an older car- Easy install- Good FM radio performance- Bluetooth pairing to phone for music seems OK (Spotify etc. played form the phone).Cons:- Doesn't retain radio stations after battery disconnect (it mentions in the add that it retains them after a power failure, which I interpreted to be a battery disconnect)- Radio station names trail across the screen causing unnecessary distraction at night.- Time clock to bright at night.- Poor Bluetooth phone call reception from the mic, so the other person finds it difficult to hear you clearly. The sound of the other person on the speakers seems OK.- Doesn't play ACC files, but more expensive units don't seem to either.

When wired correctly it's a great performer
Unfortunately the wiring instructions are wrong. You need both 12v wires connected if you want the radio to power up. One 12v comes from the ignition switch to tell the radio to switch on, the other 12v wire connected to the battery provides the power for the amplifier. I installed this in my son's corsa with an adapter harness. He says it doesn't keep it's memory so that suggests the 12v wires need to be swapped. Either way you need both 12v attached.

The media could not be loaded.
